I canceled my MS order and decided on a Paps v3 18350 instead, that's stealthy enough for me, and I don't want my beloved Spheroid scratched up! Believe it or not, I use it more than my Heron (or anything else, really).

Yeah, I hear ya. A V3 in 18350 definitely is stealthy enough with a spheroid and is a fantastic setup! :)

I have lucked out thus far with my spheroids getting scratched up by the Microstick. I am SUPER careful when screwing them in. But I know it's only a matter of time before they get a bit scuffed......It's just that they work SO well together!!

I LOVE my spheroids too. I have 3 of them now and plan on getting more. It is probably my favorite atty right now......

So ... July 11, huh? :p

Looks like it! :) I will not be in the race to get one, but I can't wait to see who ends up with one!! I wish everyone here the best of luck!! :)

I think Akdare uses scotch tape on the inside of the ring to guard against scratches.

Black electrical tape. A little thicker, tougher so would provide more protection than Scotch tape I'd think.

Yeah, no Ti for me either. Got some other big things to buy soon (TV, sofa, etc.). Wishing luck to those on the bench!

You can buy a TV, sofa, etc anytime... there will only be one shot at a new Ti. ;)

any news on when that new Piccolo will be released? I really would like to get my hands on one of those...

I haven't an ETA for that yet. And although we shall continue to work upon the Piccolo v4, after the release of the TiX, I don't know if we have enough production time till the summer vacations. We need to slow down a bit to keep our sanity. Too many products and versions in so little time. And many spares and versions of spares, over 70 different products.

CURRENT PRODUCTION

GP PAPS LUX Edition v3
GP PAPS X LUX Edition v1.5
GP PAPS X SS Edition v1.5
GP Spheroid v3
GP HERON v1.5

GP SnP 22 v2
GP SnP 23 v2

Good afternoon everyone...hope the holiday weekend has gone well for you. This is my first trip to this new thread and don't have time to catch up on reading....only have a few minutes to play on the pc this afternoon. I just wanted to stop by and say I finally got a great build on one of my spheroids..now I understand the love:D I've used them for awhile but finally nailed it and just can't believe how fabulous it is.

We just bought a sofa and a new 75" TV is next.

7a7yvysy.jpg

Its huge and comfy.

Wow that IS huge, and looks super comfy!! We recently bought a leather sectional from a place called "Xtreme Value Furniture" (that should've been my first warning)......We've had it for less than a year, and already it's starting to tear in places and is sunk in where we sit....It is an absolute POS........Oh well, it was cheap enough....I need to get a new one, and the next one will be high-quality!! After all, it is used every day, so a good sofa seems worth it to me...

Well done!

How'd you go about doing yours? I used the PnB and a drill. I started with 400 grit and wet sanded one step up at a time all the way to 5000, then used a buffing wheel and cloth wheel with a couple of different compounds (grey first, then white), then hit it with a coat of autosol.

It was my first time with this sort of thing outside of refinishing a couple of things here and there. I've never completely changed a finish before. I'm extremely pleased with the results :)

That PnB tool is really a wonderful thing!

This one seats 12 comfortably. We waited over 2 months for it to be built and delivered. We shopped for a couple of years and kept going back to this one.

Its called The Fairmont Grande Island. We got it from Carolina Rustica. It is sooooo well made and should last decades.
That looks really sweet, like you could just dive in and relax.

Good Day all! Hoping all are enjoying the day today and a damn good vape.

This is exactly my train of thought and forgot to mention that in my earlier post. The 350 is perfect for me and my covert operations :).

I think Akdare uses scotch tape on the inside of the ring to guard against scratches.
Remembering that conversation, seems eons ago doesnt it?, we talked about everything from electrical tape to J-wraps and my original thought was the scotch tape. But, there is no way that I can wrap GP mods or atomizers and I cringe at modding new mods...And mentioned that on Ishy's thread.

I think Ishy (?) said in his video the atty hole will be 17mm. I quite fancy one, maybe a red or blue, or even pink, to mix things up with a bit of bright colour in my collection. I am stalking naturevape at the mo.

I have to stealth-vape often. I use public transport every day, often for long journeys, and vaping is banned on the buses & trains. As with others on here it is also banned by my employer - have to use the designated smokers' area outdoors or go offsite. It is annoying but I am just really pleased I'm not smoking.

Vaping hasn't caught on much where I live. I've never seen another person vaping in my home town and the first vape shop within 50 miles has only just opened. It is brilliant to be able to link up with vapers online, see their stuff, learn about new things, get & offer help, and buy from people like Perseas. If it wasn't for the online community I would definitely still be smoking.

Ishy originally thought a 22mm mod would be a better fit for the community, thankfully the masses spoke :). I signed up as well to the notice and I think NV mentions 3-4 weeks for a new batch. I appreciate the discussion on the thread and think Ishy is listening to some of the members that are offering ideas for the new batch. I really like the 500 size without adding an extension as the MS. But, as I said, I am in no hurry for one and am quite satisfied with muh GP.

Did mine about a month ago, I wasn't sure if I would like it full polished. I figured why not, its so easy to get a brushed finish back anyways.

Started with a abrasive pad for metal, then 400-600-1000-2000 wet then a few passes on the buffing wheel with my regular gloss grit blue compound and finished with a high gloss green compound.

The topcap could use a little more sanding but its really not even noticeable in hand. Its fun to polish stuff !!

Wasn't it great reading all his questions and the input from everybody? Like being able to watch it being created. I'm the same as you re the Gizmo 18500 size, I'd like the extra battery life without having to mess about with screws swapping the extender onto the MS. The wee MS is invaluable for hiding in the hand though. Hmmm I'm definitely talking myself into having both. Which is a great excuse for more Spheroids! Perfect :)

Oh, I just remembered - it must be 17mm because its official name is Gizmo17.

Very cool.

I've tinkered with the idea for quite sometime now, but finally pulled the trigger when I won another one from the "Secret Santa" contest. That way I can mix and match brushed/polished pieces. I think its gonna look amazing all mixed up.
