Exactly. I've learned many a lesson from my folks, people I've encountered, and other "hobbies" which I will leave as it is. There are good lessons in everything.
If I could live by my own words every single day, I'd be a much better man. :)

We all would bro. That's what makes everyone unique. Nobody is perfect and that's beautiful a lot of the time.

Hello GP Fam!

Cucco, Yankee and I are on the tail end of talks finalizing and hammering out details of our partnership.
We are going to start a mobile cleaning business for GP mods :). The name of our company will be BOHO's GP Cleaning.
Here is our motto,

If you don't know, call the Ho....

Catchy huh?

Do you do house calls to Australia?

I took this family portrait for the folks over on Aussie vapers. I thought I'd finished buying. Silly me. The next portrait might have a Gizmo/Spheroid added.

One thing I've always believed is very similar to what you're saying. Whenever bad things happen or have happened to us in life, you have two choices:
One, look at it negatively, dwell on it, hold a grudge, and be negative.
Two, look at positive outcomes and make something better out of it.
As a youngster, I was "abused" physically by my correctional officer father. Being the oldest boy of 8 kids, I did things that he experienced for his first time as a parent. He was abused by his father too.
He always told me, he did it to me, I did it to you, and you will one day to your kids.
From that day, I made a promise to myself.
And it has made me so loving towards children. I don't have my own yet, but I love to make kids laugh. Kids love me. It's great.
So I often thank my father for making me that way. I could have just been a douche and hated kids and acted the same way. But I can't. So just proving my point.

Good for you! :)

The people and environment I was born into, was brutal. I had many examples, of who I didn't want to be. And, of how I did't want to live. It gave me much incentive, to rise above my raising. It's all good. :)

Just one of several I took back in '98/'99 near my home in Peccole Ranch (that was the very edge of Las Vegas at the time). The burros run wild in several places very close to the city. Burros is kind of a misnomer though as some of them are quite large. Despite local warnings about them, as an animal whisperer of sorts I could usually walk right up to them, give them a scratch, and they would follow me for miles. Came in handy when I hiked the desert alone as they would warn me of danger, like rattlesnakes I hadn’t seen and could no longer hear.

A Mojave Green with not so much of the typical green/yellowish color, so it blends right in and might not be noticed when hiking.

Snake, save yourself man and run!

Hubby #1 was a genius, and incredibly creative. However, he was also Manic Depressive. In some of his manic states, he would lock himself away in the garage. During those times, he would sit at his desk, and write in journals. Thoughts, poems, lists, and drawings of inventions. Although these journals were written during manic episodes, it was all valid material. Quite often, brilliant. I treasure his journals.
So pleasant to read what you write! Most manic depressives are very creative and brilliant! It is awesome when you get a balance on your meds and can still create! My dad had awesome handwriting!

Well it's a bittersweet day. I just sent off my SS 2.5 in trade for a Gandalf Epipemod to put one of my Spheroids on. It was my first GP mod(I've still got two 2.5 lux's, a piccolo, and two V3's), and it served me well. I still remember the day someone recommended it to me in the high end thread. Soooo glad I started my authentic(my first mech was a 12$ sentinel clone) journey with the best!

Mwdenko, welcome to the GP Family!

idabufaho.

Oh I can't even say it.

Awesome! ;) I will need you guys here every two weeks. Can I set up an auto-ship of sorts, kind of like I do with my dog food?

What a beautiful setting for a great picture.

Thanks :) Although I live in suburban Sydney, I'm very fortunate in that our house backs directly on to 300 hectares of native bushland known as Bidjigal Reserve. It's not like being in the city at all:

The blackened tree trunks are the result of a controlled bushfire mitigation burn a couple of years ago. The downside of living here is that bushfires are an ever-present danger. I've lived here since 1976; we did have one fire that burnt out the back garden, jumped the house, and burnt out the front garden. As a result, I'm a long-time member of our local Community Fire Unit and have a red fire trailer in my front garden.
