Oh my , I LOVE Leopard Geckos, the females especially..... Such pretty, sweet and almost too docile little lizards.... I had one for years and when I got married and had my son, I felt I was neglecting her so a good friend "adopted" her and last I heard she was still alive. I think she was 20?

I will raise you ? ( im not a card player....)

When I moved here, to Florida, I was fascinated with the lizards. Not something I had any previous experience with. I spent hours and hours and hours, watching them outside my lanai. I put large rocks out there, to attract them. They like sunning themselves on top, and at other times, they take shelter underneath. I watched how they interacted. I watched their mating. I had many conversations with them. It was all so fascinating.

One day, at a local place, I struck up a conversation with a man. I shared with him what I had been observing, and had learned. He then asked: "Tell me, how many cats do you have?".

Hmm.... :)

Life is funny! :)

So my 4 1/2 year old daughter is now really wanting a small animal pet. We have a cat and goldfish.

We have been researching geckos and hamsters. I'm actually taking her to a hamster convention at the end of the month. And we went to several pet stores where she handled both.

I bought books and told her we had to read them and learn how to care for them and if she showed dedication to learning and more care for our existing animals she could ask Santa for Christmas.

Western Banded Gecko's (Coleonyx variegatus) are fairly common here, both outdoors and indoors. Make great house guests as they keep any bugs that get into the place in check (except the scorpions). Picture is from a couple of weeks ago when I was at my son house. This little guy was in the kitchen looking for an easy meal.

Note: No geckos were injured in the making of this picture, and were released back to the same spot first found at. ;)

Hi All,

I ran across an interesting issue the other night and would like some input. I have a Paps V3 (lux) as well as the 18650 SS tube and also recently acquired a TOBH Atty V2.5. My first build on the TOBh was around .5 and had it sitting on the Paps with a fully charged Sony VCT4 and once i start pulsing and pinching the coils the button would get hot. I checked for shorts on my ohm reader and nothing came up, tightened down my post screws... nothing.

I also have a Raiju rda, mirrored the build and it works great on the paps. I then took the TOBH and used it with another mod (telescopic nickel plated copper positive pin) and it works like a charm..

Is it possible that this is an issue in the Gpin and the paps was not meant for sub ohming?

Any help is welcome and appreciated.

Sounds to me like it is an issue between the TOBH and the PAPS. Look to the 510 connection for any lose metal filings or a recessed positive pin in the TOBH's 510.

You should see me, when I try to rescue any lizards that enter my house. It is crazy! I try so hard! When I succeed, the cats are not happy campers. They look at me like I am a traitor! :)

Oh and I will chime in on the sub ohm thing....

I'm currently using my Lux v2.5 along with a Zenith RDA. I've got dual macros built to .33 ohms. I have no issues whatsoever regarding shorts and hot buttons. I also know what I'm doing! :) Granted I don't have a GPin in this mod, but if I did, I would imagine that as long as all my fundamentals are in order, I wouldn't get any hot button/short issues either. The current isn't only going through the spring, but also friction of the encapsulating pins.

So yeah I agree on the Ti thing, I have never really had any trust/respect for the modder in question. I remember when he first started up and the mods were exploding lol. Remember, my post count may be low, but I was here in the vaping scene since it first went up in the states. I just tend to lurk lol.

Don't miss out on the GVC. It was a daily of mine for almost 3 months straight lol. It stands for Grant's Vanilla Crack.

How ironic is it that I reload on my needed mental health days? In muh shop doin muh thing.

Brings back a lot of memories bro. I first started reloading in the late 50's for my hunting rifles, shotguns and handguns. When I stopped shooting and so reloading in 2005 I was reloading for most of the 88 firearms I still had, more than half of them long range wildcats used for ADC. Picture is of one I think that you'll like IAMA it was custom made exhibition grade in the very early 90's very near where your home is. I owned a truck load of specialty handguns over the years from the mid 60's, but this one with 250 man hours into it was the top of the heap in quality, and it was the most valuable I ever owned. It's stock was designed by a father and it was appraised for me by his son that I am sure you know in TF. The smith that hand made it passed on long ago, so I never met him. If you were in the area back then you might have known him as well though.

I saw that. Very unimpressed. The fact that after numerous questions for data he couldn't produce anything other than "it's much safer" angered me. Glad I never supported that modder.

The egomaniac is at it again....do not question the man behind the curtain...or no soup for you! :p

Thanks Spydro, that is a great photo, so beautiful. One year we had a dozen little baby western alligator lizards all over the house. I collected them and put them in a large terrarium on a large high shelf. I figured Id feed them and get them on a good start before letting them go.

My cat at the time, Thomas thought this was a good idea....... I came home one day and found that Thomas had knocked the terrarium down and slaughtered them, those that were not dead were lying on the floor gutted. I was so sad and felt so guilty.
Thomas the mild mannered cat, that never climbed nor went on the shelves showed me a different side of his. He looked quite proud of himself.
