Also, way back when Perseas mentioned this to use for the silver played bits. I haven't tried it yet personally but have been meaning to.

I use that method on my vintage silver plated razors and it works perfectly

It's funny, all my life, I lived near a beach. As an adult, I was a workaholic, so I never took the time to go. Then, I retired here to Florida. I live very near the beach. Due to driving(neurological) issues, I have never been there. That is crazy! It is now on my to-do list! Splurge, and take a cab to the beach! :)

Cucco go to the beach! I live in the Midwest and have been beach less for ever, I love the smell, the feel everything about it! I work Alot as well life is to short!

And let me say how impressed I am with the X.
As expected, the threading is wonderful, the finish of course too.
The button amazing. Not better nor less than the v3, but diff.
Running it with a 650, just because I have two left over from selling the REO, long ago,
which didn't suit me at all. Looking forward to trying it in a "mini" config.

I know. It's nuts, isn't it? I have lived within an hour or so from a beach, my entire life. I now live, less than a half an hour. But, I have not been to a beach in around thirty years. Crazy! Nuts! Ugh! :)

It is now, very high on my to-do list! You reminded me! Thanks! :)

Living in Florida, you really must check out the beaches. I've always lived near the Gulf side of Fl. Only visited the Atlantic beaches once while in St. Augustine. They are all beautiful in their own way. You owe it to yourself to check it out.

I lived in Florida for a month. I used to love going to Hobe Sound in Jupiter. Such good memories.

As a child, I spent a lot of time at the beaches you just left. Just never found time as an adult. We had a remote office down there. I did fly down to that office in a helicopter a couple of times. In a really bad fog, we flew down the coastline. We dipped down and towards the beach, to see where we were. We blew sand all over the people on the beach. Felt bad. But, I got to see the beach. :)

We had no business flying that day! Zero visibility. But, I had a function to attend. My helicopter pilot was as crazy, as crazy can be. Nuts, but fun!

I've lived in the Midwest my entire life (not including school) and have never lived more than a few miles from Lake Michigan. We would walk to the beach in the summer when I was growing up. It's fresh water, so you don't have the smell and majesty of the oceans, but at least you can lay out, make sandcastles, go boating, make bonfires, and do other really fun beachy things. The Indiana Dunes and Michigan beach towns are also a short drive away and are popular beach destinations. Like StrikeIII, I used to love to bike on the lakefront.

I've been fortunate over the past few winters to spend a week in the Florida Keys right on the ocean. I love the Keys, the fresh seafood, and the Atlantic Ocean is breathtaking.

I spent 1.5 years in Zion, Illinois. That is where I took Hubby for cancer treatment. I experienced the 'lake effect' weather. That was interesting.

The Keys, is on my to-do list too. Everybody says it is a 'must do'.
