I can say for a fact, much like I posted a couple times. Rayon, head to head with Cotton has won almost every battle. Most recent with a Heron. I can not get over the wicking.
I told Yanks last night, my rayon Heron build at 1.0 I originally filled the tank with 4.0 ml on 2.5 inches of fluff. 2nd tank I filled 3.6ish and I could of put in a slight bit more.
Rayon wicking is phenomenal and fast.
Remember unlike cotton have a little wick resistance in coil as the rayon will contract a slight bit.

It was fun twisting the Mundy's Magic. But I pulled it out since Cylone is small and can only do a 1/16 without touching the cap and at .55 ohm with a tiny wick was just to low and didn't fly with what I was vaping. Swiched back to the ususal 1 ohmish coil. Probably will try it again sometime since I got 200ft. of that ribbon wire.

CelluCotton ~ 100% Rayon Fibers. Comes in a few sizes at can be found at Sally Beauty Supply. If you do buy some just don't get the 10' Ft. pack since that is not 100% Rayon but actually cotton.

They also have the cotton in the boxes. Just make sure it says 100% Rayon Fibers on the package. Under $12 for box of 500 feet. If some of you want to try it out before splurging, send me your address. I've still got about 480 feet after giving some away.

Alot of folks were saying how many feet they used to get it right the first time. So I wanted to make sure I had enough to goof around with. Surprisingly I got it done perfecto on first go at it.

Well crap...I might actually have to try this rayon. I've got a light week this week, perhaps light enough to find time to hunt down some rayon and re wick everything. Or at least the big three. Spheroids, Squapes, and Heron.

I wish it was called anything but rayon. I know that it is eco driven and manufactured from pulp material but, I still can't think about it while building. Why rayon?

Anyway, I know I will not give up digging out a perfect KGD wick or cotton in general as I feel it has its place. My Spheroids love KGD and I just built a couple rayon wicks last week in a Spheroid or two. The KGD seems to hold up in terms of shape. We'll see.
Soon, suppliers will be cutting rayon in 1ft lengths for sale much like they are selling a couple KGD pads now.
Don't blink the next best wick is just a few days away .

Not so fast my friend, I have sent absolutely no wire to four people on the thread so that I can confirm my half baked claim through a very strict and structured testing regimen. It is important that we scientifically have our results documented on a vaping forum thread.

The solution is quite simple, yet admittedly complex. Remove the wires from the vaping equation altogether.

I too thought that rayon sounded like the "new" nylon from back in the day.. and as for titanium wires we have recently been introduced to this on UKV by Imeo, when questioned about it we were told the benefits were "obvious" (we would have wished for a more scientific answer, but hey..).
