Want your old one back?

Imagine a lot of ladies had a crush on him, probably some still do. I was watching him on TV before you were born... on Rawhide.

He was shy too around people he didn't know FWIW. Saw that when I first met him at the festival, when I worked/shot with him at the gun club, and on the projects involving him as an actor, director or owner of location properties when I was a location manager for some of the production companies making films in the Monterey County area during the early to mid 70's.

Funny.. I never had any sort of 'crush' for a famous person. I never really 'got it'. Sure, there were some I saw as attractive. Both sexes. But, never the 'normal girl' crush stuff.. :)

Looking great, bud!!

Hello everyone from Memphis, TN! I flew down here today and am doing some work at a local hospital before flying out tomorrow. I am contemplating going to check out Graceland this afternoon (if I finish in time!)....but at the very least I will be able to hit Beale St as I'm staying right on it.....hopefully I can get some good BBQ!! :)

Good day to everyone, hope all is well!

GP Tip of the day - Don't forget to clean those switches! Make sure they are completely dry when reassembling by cleaning the post threads on the button with a dampened Q-tip with a bit of alcohol unless there is already moisture in it from rinsing with mild soap and water.
Just pull a bit of the cotton off and screw it in. You will be surprised on the amount of oxidation that collects and hides inside that small hole on the threads.

Hello GP Family..... Its been a REALLY hot day again and a very sad and stressful one.. My brother visits every month and he brings his little Italian Greyhound "Fame" with him. Lovely little guy, Ex show dog/ breeder. He has lead a very hard and "unloving" life. He was shipped from Australia, for use as a show dog, breeding stock and has never really been a "pet" He is very nervous and obviously never had much affection. He was in between homes after retirement and my brother adopted him.

THe foster parent before us "debarked" him and he is so pathetic when he does attempts to bark only during normal occasions, strangers at the door etc, never "nuisance" barking.

This morning he woke up vomiting blood, which shocked us because he has not shown any symptoms of being ill, except for being more cuddly and needy. We rushed him to the vet where he had all sorts of tests and turned out to be suffering from acute and serious Pancreatitis . Poor thing has to stay for 4 days and is being treated. I was so sad and depressed thinking that maybe he ate something poisonous. Poor little guy has had such a long and depressing life , except for this last year and a half that hes been with my brother and Us. Poor little guy.

I had to share this as I know there are many here that have 4 legged family members

Wow all your pics are fantastic!

So do any of you ever let your devices get a patina? Or are they always shiny?

Avid so glad you caught it when you did, your furry baby is in my thoughts!

I let mine alternate. I enjoy watching the patina develop and the feel of it. I tend to polish my lux tubes in rotation so that I always have one or two in various stages. I also enjoy the shiny and the process of polishing them back to a different life.

Aww Pris,
It's so hard to see our four legged family hurting. I personally had pancreatitis which landed me in the hospital for nearly 2 wks. Nothing but fluids and pain management was the cure. I pray for your sweetiepie...I am sure he is in good hands. Keep thinking good thoughts.
hugs to you!

Hey Folks...long time no post. Hope all is well.
Is the reason why the Spheroid and Heron (without top cap) produces the awesome flavour they do, because some of the vapour passes through the juice filled fluff before travelling up the chimney? I'm not sure if that's the case but when I open them up immediately after vaping, and poke the fluff with a toothpick, some vapour escapes. I'm just curious...and i apologize if this has been discussed before. If that is what actually happens then it helps me explain to others why i love them so much.

Hey my buddy! We miss seeing you around :)
As always hoping all is fantastic with you.

Ok flavor, actually the vapor does not come in contact with the juiced fluff as it is separated by means of the chimney. As you pull your vapor, chimneys in each atomizer corral the vapor with the flared chimney base and it travels north encased in the tube.
The flavor comes from the ingenious design of the small chamber prior to going up into the tube.
The Heron actually has a designed section/chamber for the condensed vapor to accumulate. As it being a 22 mm atomizer with flavor in mind, the chamber was created.
The Spheroid smaller in design already has a small enough area to successfully capture and deliver the well known flavor we get.

GP was one of the very first builders to realize and harness the small chamber design and the reason it is still as popular today as it is timeless in design.
Thank you Perseas for not changing the design or aesthetic look my good friend. As I have.noted, it is simply amazing and I still can't get over how many vapors own them.
Cheers

Thanks for clearing that up for me Idaho. I do confess that i used my mis-information to sell someone on a spheroid.... I'll be sure to correct that with him. Summer has been hectic this year...I still have time to lurk before bed though...hoping to hear of a Piccolo release (No pressure Perseas, i hope you're taking time to enjoy yourself)
