Vapemail came yesterday... 2 Senio Drippers plus extras. Really great CS from Dariusz - from order placed to be made to shipped to my door all in 9 days. Got them set up tonight, the SS on the SS 18500 Edition V3 and the Mixed on the LUX 18500 V3. I will clean the Lux/DT/Senio to bright finish and let all three of them patina together for hopefully a good match. Also have the Origen on the SS 2.1 alternating between the 18350 and 18650 tubes. Ought to be good to go now with drippers for the PAPS.

Hey everyone! Love seeing all the great pictures here [emoji1]

Hopefully everyone got their cellucotton by now. I sent as much as would fit in an envelope to all who messaged me, plus spydro.

I want to thank Perseas again for his kindness, unbelievable generosity & outstanding customer service. So many businesses could learn from this man. Perseas it really blows my mind just how much you do for us. I think what you did for me was really too much, & I feel some guilt for it. And it drives me crazy when you don't listen to me [emoji12]. But I also truly appreciate the kindness you exhibit on a daily basis to us all.

You are one-of-a-kind sir. In the best way possible. Thank you.

Wildvet,
Thank you for the great sample of CC. It wicks really nice. I tried it in several setups and its really great in my Origin V2 drippers.
I appreciate your kindness and generosity.

Wow all your pics are fantastic!

So do any of you ever let your devices get a patina? Or are they always shiny?

Avid so glad you caught it when you did, your furry baby is in my thoughts!

I let mine develop to certain point, then I bring them back as close as possible to the original color. IMO, there's a point where the coloring passes a patina look and looks dirty or sometimes filthy. TBH, I prefer the original color always, but I tolerate patina sometimes because it can develop nicely. I like Nach's patina, kind of a rustic, antique look - nice!

Good morning GP Fam!

Hey wildvet! Thanks again! Got my CC sample and re-wicked a few attys and I think it performs great. Great flavor and wicks so nicely. Is it me or does the flavor last longer in CC vs. Regular Cotton? I feel like I don't need to drip as often. But it could be just me going crazy.

Congrats Spydro! My Senio is still sitting in Jamaica, NY. USPS service is spotty as hell, as usual.

Haven't been to my mailbox for a few days, but thank you for sending some CC to me K. I'm going to break all the Herons/Spheroid down this weekend for a cleaning and rewick... maybe change a couple of coils... perfect time to try it out. Going to try it in the drippers as well.

BTW, I watched that PB video comparing the wick materials... and had no idea until then just how BIG the 3# box really was. No wonder the shipping is more than the cost of the box of CC. LOL

+1, Perseas is a very special person. We are all fortunate to have him in our lives.

Poczta Polska confirmed mine was shipped on the 18th, but USPS tracking was worthless from the start. Four entires only on the entire tracking of the package. Origin Post Preparing with no date showed up on the 19th.... then on the 20th they added processed through IPC NY, then nothing at all until mid morning the 24th when it showed out for delivery and then added delivered. Since it has to be signed for it sure makes it a guessing game knowing when to be home.

Doggie made it thru the night and is still stable. Still hoping that it stays that way. Vet said he its still very touch and go. Went to see him and it was very sad to see him all doped up on morphine and hooked up to the IV. He recognized us but could not really move. I am very shocked that in the place that there is no one during the night in the office to keep an eye on the animals overnight. Vet said it was common except in the ER vet places.

What if they turn for the worse during those hours and need resuscitation? If something goes wrong and they need something and they die in pain or something that could be helped if they had quick help?

Seems odd that they dont hire someone to just at least sit there and call the vet or a vet tech to come in if needed?

Hey Folks...long time no post. Hope all is well.
Is the reason why the Spheroid and Heron (without top cap) produces the awesome flavour they do, because some of the vapour passes through the juice filled fluff before travelling up the chimney? I'm not sure if that's the case but when I open them up immediately after vaping, and poke the fluff with a toothpick, some vapour escapes. I'm just curious...and i apologize if this has been discussed before. If that is what actually happens then it helps me explain to others why i love them so much.

It is a combination of different factors rather than only one reason. The fluff holds the juice in its pores in a non liquid state, so the flavour molecules are released in a constant base, perfuming the chamber. During the draw, the vapour passes thru this semiliquid medium mixes with it and returns to the chimney enriched and then it becomes condensed and arrives to the drip tip in a cooler temperature (more flavour notes). Add to the recipe, that the liquid is not "cooked" as it may happen in a tank system, but it works mostly like a dripper and all these factors combined work as flavour enhancers.

It is not just the operation of holding and transferring the liquid that matters, but in what way this function can be applied, in terms of flavour transference.

Non liquid state means that the liquid is mixed with air inside the fluff, so it is not pure liquid, as it would be the case in a tank and that affects the flavour transference for 5 combined reasons:
1. The liquid is dispersed in drops and droplets perfuming the chamber.
2. The liquid isn't "cooked".
3. The produced vapour circulating in there is becoming more flavoured, because it is enriched further.
4. The wicking works as in a dripper via drops.
5. The mixture of liquid with air + air gives more aromatic draw than a mixture of liquid + air due to the way the internal pressure works in Spheroid and Heron.

So good to hear he made it thru the night. This is something that really has to work itself out. Believe it or not the pancrease is not something that can be quick fix. They are doing exactly what they did to me. Pain management and fluids. It has to work itself out. Yankee had a really tough time with watching me go thru it and we had no idea how deadly it is for humans. Morphine works wonders though...at this point it is probably harder on you guys than on him.

I was shocked that in our area, the norm is no coverage overnight unless ER facility. I feel like I have one of the very best vet clinics in the state of MA and they have no overnight coverage. Don't let that bother you too much. If they felt that your baby needed overnight care, they would have you take them to ER facility. Honestly this is going to work out the way it is going to work out whether he is watched overnight or not. It is disturbing to people that have never needed this extensive care but it is the norm rather than the exception. Keep your chin up Pris.

Happy thoughts for the little guy.
