Wow, I was just perusing the classies and noticed a distinct movement of Provaris. I've never tried one and have only seen one person with one so I really know nothing about them. Man are they going the way of the Sentinels/Nzonics/Zmax etc.?

On another note that I found kinda funny. I've been building little mod stand out of exotic woods and posting them on craigslist. A guy that was just opening a vape shop locally wanted to buy some for his showcase. He bought a couple and asked if I could make some to accommodate the 26650 mods. He said that was coming on in a big way in popularity. I was surprised as I've never seen a person actually using one.

I own a provari and have thought about selling mine as well. I don't figure they will pass away into the past too easily. I wonder if the people who are selling them are moving towards mechanicals? I know thats the reason I dont use mine and have thought about selling it...and the 26650 becoming popular? That might be. I havent seen anyone use one when out and about either. I know jp has one and he likes it. It wouldnt surprise me if they took off in popularity tho. Theyre kind of fun...

Yep, I bought a Super-T precise simplicity 26650 - It's my first experience with 26650 mods. When I first got it, I couldn't get over how big it is, but you get used to it pretty quickly. I'll tell ya what though; the battery life is AMAZING and makes the size totally worth it. With a Heron on top running a 1.4 Ohm coil, I can vape for 2-3 days without having to change the battery (I am using MNKE 3500 mAh). It's pretty remarkable....

I would highly recommend the Super T 26650 to anyone looking to experiment with this size mod. The quality is second to none, and they have excellent customer service (much like GP in that regard). I liked the Precise 26650 so much that I went and bought a Super T ELA, and it too is a superb mod.....I'd say GP (Perseas) and Super T (Dave) are my 2 favorite modders as of right now.... :)

I sold my Provari a while back when I moved to mechanical devices. I just prefer a good mechanical over a regulated mod (just IMO).....

Rumor has it that provape is releasing a v3. What that means is anyone's guess. But likely this explains the sudden surge in the for sale section. Regulated likely will always have a place for many.

Yankee's right. Got this from another thread:
"According to Vapor Joe the new Provari will be arriving within the next two months and he says he's verified some major details.

It's supposed to be a 24 watt device that has temperature control, the board/screen is being developed by Evolv.
There's also supposed to be a variety of interchangeable top caps like the Svoemesto.
I'm sure there are some folks that will disappointed by the maximum output but most people (myself included) will be quite content with 24 watts."

I gave my Provari and Kayfun to my wife since she's perfectly happy with that experience. I have to say though I've been using my ZNA more lately so I might be interested in whatever Provape comes up with.
I've been thinking about a 26xxx mod lately too but just not ready to make that jump.

    My daily carries for today...

There has always been a “supply” of ProVari’s for sale in the classifieds. Not as many as now days though. I recognize a lot of the names selling them. What is distinct IMO is how few of them are selling for give away prices… it appears you almost can’t give them away now. Traditionally they sold quite fast, often within minutes and held close to their retail value quite well. That was the days when the old ProVari forum was as much or more active than this forum is with a very strong and active following. That was the forum with no ties to ProVape and no support from them, just loyal customers. What seems to coincide with the flood of ProVari’s for sale maybe is a lot of the folks who ran the old ProVari forum, then had to start using ProVapes when ECF Admin dropped their forum don’t seem to run on ProVapes forum much anymore. I’m one of them… the forum was a joke as far as I was concerned with next to no Team ProVape presence. Another quality gear vendor's forum with strong factory support I've ran for a long time is about the same now days... the majority of it's people have not been seen there for a long time now, or only rarely drop in with a post. I guess folks just move on, probably when the interest dies promised products never get released or new products doln't keep them interested.

As for me I have 5 ProVari’s, 3 of them limited editions. I had an in so 2 of the 3 are as rare as rare comes in ProVari unicorns. And I have high end ProVari specific toppers, support gear and tools. I pretty much don’t use any of it anymore. I started going back to the mech’s I already had about 4+ months ago, then eventually bought way too many more high end mech’s and gear for them to replace my ProVari’s (mostly GP). So the ProVari’s and their specialized toppers turned out to be a bad investment when only a couple of them were on the front line daily for about 5 months. I will probably always have the polished standard I have on a ProVape pass thru on my computer desk that I still occasional drip with… and probably the Bronze mini that is my favorite of the 5 as it is the one with a SnP/Sofia. I can’t get anything for them selling them anyway now. The other 3 high dollars ones I almost never used even from the start, and never will use them or their toppers again. But I will not sell them for give away prices, so they’ll probably remain packed away or eventally listed someplace else on-line.

I've said that I'm just not ready for a 26650 mod but P makes one I would definitely get it. Right now the Super-T and Monte Cristo are the only 26650s I would currently consider.

Oh, and I forgot about the Ad-Hoc that looks like a really nice 26650 plus they make a hybrid dripper for it too.

Plus with all the DNA, SX..., OCR, Ruffles, Pringles or whatever chips that are out there now-a-days there are tons more quality regulated options that ProVapes claim to indestructible design is no longer a huge selling point to people when people want the latest in technology especially if it has the ability to have firmware upgrades and what not.

We have 3 provari in the house. A used black one purchased from someone, a mini stealth (just because), and one that was stripped down and dressed in wood. They get used but not often.

My Provari well lets just say doesn't get used anymore so I think its time to let it go....
Love my ZNA (Owned 2)....But recently sold off a "New in the Box" ZNA so I could justify buying another mod...... GP PAPS X SS next up on the list :thumb:
