Plus with all the dna, SX..., OCR, Ruffles, Pringles or whatever chips that are out there now-a-days there are tons more quality regulated options that ProVapes claim to indestructible design is no longer a huge selling point to people when people want the latest in technology especially if it has the ability to have firmware upgrades and what not.

They were a good mod. Still are. But you're right. Unless some radical changes are made, other dna devices will surpass them some day. The regulated debate will live on forever. I feel there is a place for each for their own reason.
The whole vari-w thing gets me. VW can be much more useful than VV. BUT I'll say this. If you switch your atty on a VW, there is still a good chance that you'll change the wattage anyway. Example: go from an atty with tobac which you may run higher wattage to gvc which we tend to agree that doesn't need to be boiled. VW CAN be set it and forget it but not always.
I coil to the juice and the 4v output more times than not. I'm used to it.

I hear you loud and clear. When I got a wizards apprentice evolved II, I stopped using my provari. It just sits on the backof a shelf. I agree they don't have a strong selling point like they did, plus I found it annoying to use (the whole button/menu thing). Hope they step up their game...

I too am about to unload a Provari. I've got two. One full size with extension that I picked up cheap and refinished, and a satin mini with twins and a hippo v1 that I bought retail. I'll keep the satin around bc I like it and it's a nice security blanket, the only regulated mod I've got that is basically bullet proof. I'll be curious as to the Provari V3's durability. Is it as durable as its predecessor, that'd be the only way I go for one. I'm quite happy with my vaporsharks for the moment though which is good. Gives me time to see how the Provari V3 does and how all the new bells and whistles work.

Paps X is on my list too pick up too. More than likely a lux x, some of the patina photos I've seen of them look beautiful!

My 5... have extension caps/pro rings for all of them. They'll always be solid VV mods, I just like the mech's alot more.

Stealth Mini w/blue eyes, Stealth 1 of 3 w/green eyes, Polished w/blue eyes, Tan Military Prototype 1 of 1 w/red eyes, Metallic Bronze Mini w/green eyes and all V2.5.

    GP Family,
    Here we go again...

I just tried some Pima Cotton Silver yesterday:

    Premium Cotton Wick

Wicks extremely well, and easy to use. Have anyone here tried it?

I have not heard anything about the pima cotton wicks. The guy at the local B&M told me that there were some other cottons that were proving to be successful and possibly better than KGD. Now that I still have 57 KGD pads and a football field length of rayon!

But I have found a wicking material that I think might be a sleeper. I've been using the string from the Domo bag!!! It wicks wonderfully and tastes so clean I am certain that Blake better gear up for this.

I've been thinking of giving these a try for wicking.

IdaBro would probably have the market cornered on them though. ;)

I just got a sample of Japanese Muji cotton. I have so many different types of wicking material now that it's silly. I have different sizes of silica and Ekowool and different types of cotton and now Rayon. I haven't tried any KGD but I imagine that the Muji cotton is similar - I'm going to try a build of it tonight. I strictly use cotton wicks now but I guess that I'll hold on to the other stuff.

Firestorm, If you want a sample of both KGD and Pima, IM me. I just ordered 4 oz of the Pima. It works best for my Heron builds.

Thanks for the offer Bill! I sent you a PM. Pima? I can't keep up with these new wicking materials! I don't have a Heron, but I just got my first Spheroid from a good buddy of ours. The draw is tighter than I'm used to and it's a cooler vape than my other atomizers, but I'm really enjoying it. I think that I'll have to try a Heron next.

It was a pretty good day for vape mail today - I got an authentic Chi You hybrid adapter, some more GP fluff, and 210ml of eLiquid from Five Pawns and Fog Boss. I ordered a 6ml bottle of one juice to sample and I accidentally received a 30ml bottle, so hopefully I'll like it (Fog Boss Teflon Don).

You know something. I looked at a domo bag once recently and said to myself "self, how long before Blake's strings get all juiced up?"

I was honestly expecting idaho do try it. After he ran out of shoe laces.

lol my Brother. I think there are vapors now that are competing in their own personal wick race. It is out of control, seriously. I have lately commented elsewhere how the rayon thread has given me f lupus. Talking about how to layer, alternate strand length, cut into shapes, stair step etc..Cmon' guys it is just a medium to transfer juice not to save baby seals.

Oh my god. I need to read everything before posting.

    Why start now?

BTW, what is this Provari you people speak of?

Wait what? Alternating? Listen. You have to keep it simple. I braid twist a 1.25mm silica with 1mm snc. I then lay that on a bed of rayon and top it off with just a SMIDGE of KGD. The flavor is to die for. But you have to cut the ends off in the shape of the top half of a heart. Not the bottom. It won't work.
