Not an answer to your original question... but don't forget to add Saline to your mix, think of it as moisturizer for your juice...

Saline, really? I wasn't planning on adding any anything like thinners because I was planning on 50/50 mixes but I've never heard of adding saline...

... if this was a joke, I'm too n00b at DIY to have caught it!

I've not used saline in any of my mixes. In fact, no sweetener...yet. Just the flavorings. But I tend to mix some flavors in that may carry a sweetness.

So I finally got to sit down and prep/fit the rest of my TiX tubes and caps. I've been using my TiX in 500 mode, with X converter, non-stop since I've received it. I popped in my SS 18500 tube (so I wouldn't be without it for long) and sat down in front of a bucket of water all prepared to spend some time submerging/fitting all the Ti parts in all the combinations. While I did have to spend some time on it, especially on the main tube+large extension, it was pleasantly surprised that it only took me about 20-25 minutes to make sure all configurations fit smoothly together!

Interestingly enough ... when I went back to my X to put all the Ti parts back in, it was sitting there autofiring and extremely hot. I guess the extra weight of the SS tube (it's considerable) is the issue with my medium spring. Next time I'll have to remember to lock it. =P
