a Hawaiian sunset just for the family ...
Beautiful.
Have lots of fond memories of my Hawaii years, but couldn't stand to live there year-round even though we had a place for a few years on Maui. And I miss the old haunts and favored places to eat/drink on Maui more than on the other islands... like Kimos, Moose McGillycuddy's, The Rock, PicNic's, Grandma's, Tedeschi, etc.

I was in the middle of reading the fluff posts......maybe 300 posts ago when a question I don't ever recall seeing came to mind. If it did & I missed it, I'm ok with that.
In the absence of GP Fluff or Sera or <insert fluff of choice> can a strip of KGD be used?
I think my mind is looking for ways to use this stuff up other than the actual wicking thru the coil.

The little camper.
First time in a helicopter and she wants to sit in front. 25 minute ride going into canyons with waterfalls up to 11, 500 ft to the San Gorgorio summit.
Back of her head
Then the ski lift up to the top of the summit where we hiked and explored.
Finally a pirate ship tour of the lake, its history and stars homes. Mel Blanc Jr came out on his patio with a megaphone shouting at us in Looney Toon character voices. Hilarious.

I just got an unexpected medical bill and my bills are due at the same time. Have to unload some vape gear that I really don't want to get rid of.

TGIF for sure it has been a long week, hvac went out before vacation, luckily the summer has been pretty nice here, finally get all the bids in and wowsas, it's expensive , but on a positive note, it's Friday! Yippee skippe, think I'll go to bed early tonight!

... okay, so I embellish a little ...
... but, yes, I have to rein in my budget. Good thing I'm set on vape gear for awhile. Hopefully, my DIY efforts will pay off and I can spend the $$ I save on equipment.
But I had a question for the family. Before getting into rebuildables, I did a lot of research and concluded that Genesis-type devices, and drippers, weren't for me. I recently did get a good dripper (as opposed to a couple of "toy" drippers I've messed with), and while I don't use it often, it has kind of broadened my horizons. So I ask, is there any good reason that I need to try a genesis-style atty?
The drippers aren't especially pocket-friendly (unless you vape them dry) and that was the biggest reason I stayed away from genesis, but I'm willing to try as long as it doesn't break the bank. Then again, I really don't want to start an endless chain of trying out everything there is out there.

What's up GP'ers! I have a question I am hoping someone can answer. I have a Lux X that came with two different rings for the top of the mod, which makes the 510 connection flush with the ring (or switch the ring and it's not flush). However, I also have a SS X that did not come with two different rings to make that connection flush. My question is, do I need to buy a X Ring to have a flush connection on the top of the SS X? Or does the X Ring go some place other than on top of the top cap? The description for the X RIng says something about "non adjustable air flow control (AFC) ring for a different look." Not sure what that means...

Mssam, that is the one thing that irritates me on the x... The 510 connector wont have anything flush. .
On another note. Weather here was epic today. Finally got to pour the concrete to fill in between the concrete pad and my paver patio (that i have been working on for forever -- thanks to weather, vacation, and work). So i should be able to finish it all tomorrow. Also went and checked out a newer vape shop here in downtown. Bought a few new juices.. 5pawns - castle long, cloud science - alpha, and cyclops - colossus.
