Looks like somebody got ahold of some of IdaBro's socks to make them out of. ;)

    This really cracked me up!

I bought a bunch of Microfiber pouches for mine (that could double as glasses cases). Microfiber has the added benefit of also being a great cleaning cloth, but I also bought Microfiber cleaning cloths for that purpose. The pouches are not to carry them since I seldom take any of my heavier mods out... I use them for safe storage at home when not in use.

I tried the microfiber bag and any leaking juice moved to the outside of the bag and into my pocket. So that's why I looked at an alternative. I thought about sweatshirt material but found a remnant of heavy, no-pill fleece. It really seems to absorb the leaking juice and keeps my mod nice and cozy when it gets cold, too. The fleece does a great job of cleaning fingerprint and whatever else is there. I carry all kinds of junk in my pockets at work so these do a great job of keeping the scratches off.

I have always wanted nice leather pouches. Made something like the eyeglass cases with the hinged top that you squeeze to open. But, they would need to be long. I run in 18650 mode, and then my Tanbur Tip is also long. Looked. Never found. Sometimes, I use an eyeglass case like that in my purse. But, too wide, and my tip hangs out the top.

PS: I just found those hinges. They are called Metal Internal Flex Frames. If I find them skinny enough, I'm sure I can find someone to make them. :)

Just a quick question ... does anyone know how tank-cracking liquids affect the GP fluff?

I'm just wondering because I just mixed a second batch with a DIY tank-cracker (that ate the rubber seal off my syringe) and etched my polystyrene pipette.

Moving on to Pyrex pipettes for flavorings ...

Damn, even my Pluid has never done that. Are you vaping acid bro? Lol.

YIKES! I'm gonna have to look back a bit and see what you are using for flavors. Usually the bad stuff is citrus and banana. Oh and anise can be hard on plastic too.

TFA ripe banana. Seems to be okay after mixing (but I'm not using plastic tanks) but it did some work on the syringe/pipette I was using with the flavor concentrate ...

TFA Banana Creme doesn't seem to be a problem. Just the Ripe Banana.

TFA Ripe Banana ruined some of my plastic syringes and prompted me to move to glass ones.

hmm... I was thinking about ordering some glass pipettes but glass syringes may be more economical

edit: Now that I think about it ... I may just have to go with the pipettes. The TFA Ripe Banana didn't damage the actual syringe, but the rubber stopper on the plunger that makes the seal with the tube.

I think the pipettes might be safer since there will be nothing but glass...

In case you go the glass syringe route.

Hmmm. I did some DIY with that stuff, it didn't hurt anything. Maybe I got a bum bottle of it from Wizard, still have it. I didn't like it, don't like any of the banana joose I made or bought premade - several of them trying to like it.

How do you like the no name bf? I may look to sell a Chalice to pick one up. I dig the genny idea.

NoTank is good once you have it setup. Kinda fiddy to build because it's prone to hot spots and shorts. It's not really a genny type. Look in to the Hstone Plus+. That one is more like a BF genny(same concept as the In'Ax). It's also a transformer as you can replace a bunch of parts and it becomes a tankless BF like any other.
