My first GP rescue off the classies. Its in pristine condition and at a great price. Came with X ring and converter.

How do I find out who the original owner was?

Ask the seller to give you the name of the first owner if he isn't himself.

Thank you, my greetings to both of you and good morning to all :)

On another note about the Almood DNA30 mod:
I just spoke with the maker of the Almood and he will make a 10% discount for the GP family, just send an email to zerobacco@gmail.com.

You're the worst thing that has ever happened to my wallet. And I love it.

Greetings to everyone, I come seeking advice. Two weeks ago I swapped mods with a fellow vaper and received a GP Paps SS V3 in 18500. Beautiful, without any blemishes, scratches or marks. Very, very pleased with the deal. Problem was that it only came with the shorter pin in the top cap so I was experiencing some battery rattle. I explained my problem here and I received a boatload of welcomes and explanations that it required a longer pin to take care of the issue. Mr. Idaho offered to send me a spare pin and I took him up on it. Well, vapemail arrived yesterday and I now have not one but two longer pins. Chris, many, many thanks. I took apart the cap right away to install the pin and was shocked to see the dirt, crud and boogers living inside. Now I'm someone who likes to take care of their gear and regularly give all my atties and mods a nice bath/cleaning and was putting this one off til the new pin arrived.

Now could one of you please point me to a thread or video on the complete maintenance and cleaning of the switch and cap of the V3 please. There's a lot of parts in those assemblies and I intend to keep this mod for a long while. Tips, tricks, things to look out for, things to avoid doing, etc. Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Drive by to say hello.

Have 13 PV's going this morning, GP's and Reo's, some with new jooses I am trying out (still have more coming).
I need to schedule an all in GP cleaning day... takes awhile to clean 10 of them and their toppers but they are getting over due.
Also a Reo cleaning day (only have 7 of them though and they are way faster/easier).
Using the 2 Senio Drippers on 18500 X's all the time now (a SS and a LUX)... like that better than them on the V3 18500's they've been on.

Nice to hear your trip is going well P. Stay safe.
And that T and IG are getting together again.
Grats to all getting new stuff and thanks for their pictures.
Miss L, sorry but I still haven't viewed that video yet... too many issues going on around here right now.

It's finally cooling off here. I actually got a little chilled in shorts and shirtsleeves on a wee hours walk this morning to go pick up vapemail.
Did I say I really love my X's? They are well on their way to becoming my only GP's used.
Did I say I love my Herons too? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ toppers used.

All for now, but I'll be around.....

Hello Cooper!

I haven't created a maintenance video for v3, because the whole proccess of dismantling and cleaning them is pretty simple. Unscrew the negative contact screw and the whole switch comes apart. Unscrew the cap of the GPin and you can clean the spring and the interior of the base. By using the fork you remove the insulator from the top cap. Avoid to use any kind of lubricant for the switch. Depending on the use, clean the switch and the GPin every 7-10 days with a dish detergent. Occasionally, wipe the switch and GPin parts with a napkin or a handkerchief - lazy way of cleaning. Rub the brass parts of the GPin with a scotch brite in case of oxidisation and that's all.

Hi Cooper. If you're a visual sort of person, the review at GP PAPS V3 may be useful (it's in Russian, but there's a Google translate option). I love this site because the pics are so useful. For the V3, he shows complete breakdowns of the topcap, GPin and switch. Pics like this always give me confidence that I will be able to put the thing back together after I've given everything a bath :)

I took my Coiling Gizmo, to my local vape shop today. I love 'Show & Tell'! The guys had a blast! They wrapped coil after coil! What fun!

Nach: Hey you! Miss you! BTW: Another one of 'us', joined the GP Family. :)

Spydro: Sorry I missed...

gizmo.jpg BTW: Today was my two year vaping anniversary! :)

It's an art to master the Genesis. But if you have the will, the fruits of your labor are worth the effort!
Well I tried installing the coil first this time, then doing a wick-in-wick.

Much better. Every wrap fires bright and evenly. No hot spots. Much improved vapor.
