Speaking of poetry.. I don't know if I have ever told this..

I was married to two very special, unique, and eccentric men. Both have passed away. Some people never get to experience the 'real thing' (head over heels .. rose colored glasses .. madly in love). I had it twice. I feel blessed.

The 31st, will be the anniversary of the passing of my first husband, Ellwood. My Ellwood was brilliant, educated, talented, witty, kind, patient, and so much fun. My world had always been so serious. Ellwood made me laugh. He taught me how to play. He taught me, to not take life so serious, and to not take myself so serious. He taught me, it was O.K. to let people in. He taught me, how to love and trust, without an emotional barrier. He managed to get a person who was intent to never marry, to marry him. What a gift he was!

When I was child, I wrote a great deal of poetry. My childhood was very troubled, so much of my poetry was rather dark. The only person in the world, I ever let read it, was my Ellwood. He loved my poetry. No doubt, his love for it was not due to any talent I have, he just loved me so. :) He made me promise, that when he died, I would write a poem about 'us'. A poem, telling our story. Years later, my Ellwood became very seriously mentally ill. When he was not 'in hospital', I had a nurse/caretaker couple, who cared for him while I was working. One day, the nurse failed to secure his meds. A fatal mistake. So, unfortunately, I needed to keep my promise to write that poem. During a time of such immense grief, it was very difficult to write a poem. But, I had promised. I never break a promise! This was what I wrote. It was the best I could do at the time. I managed to write it, and post it with his obituary. It tells our story...

Broken Hearts

It started with a date,
a date that never ended.

This was new for both of us,
broken hearts forever mended.

That first night you said,
we would marry someday.

You didn't even know yet,
if I would allow you to stay.

We talked and laughed,
best friends from the start.

It didn't take very long,
for you to steal my heart.

We got past the hurt,
and the pain of the past.

We had a dream,
and we were free at last.

And then I said yes,
and we became a family.

And life was good,
as good as life can be.

We worked hard and played hard,
and then the darkness came.

Life as we knew it,
would never be the same.

I read and I studied,
the answers I sought.

I thought we could beat this,
with a battle well fought.

I felt your pain,
and I cried your tears.

I felt your sadness,
and I feared your fears.

You told me you loved me,
and then you said good-bye.

Why you had to suffer,
I will never understand why.

When my time comes,
there I hope you will be.

Broken hearts forever mended,
just you ...... and me.

Thanks for the link DS. How is the artwork coming these days?
Slow trying to get in for more time only got part of her hair done, but patient because she is cutting me a deal and hoping it will be photo realism.
We are friends so part of my time at the shop is visiting... You know that whole thing....

Great vid! But, that is another cam. Our Dad(Ozzie) is still recovering in the hospital. He must be worried sick about Harriet and baby E6. And, no doubt, Harriet is worried sick about her man! But, she is doing a great job at being a single Mom for now. And, E6 made his first flight! So sad, Ozzie wasn't there to see it! :(
Cucco, I was trying.

Your poem is beautiful!

hey man.. what is a billet bridge.. I have to google what that means.. Yeah the bvc heads are very impressive.. Unfortunately I heard that they are changing the wicking material to cotton.. which is a bummer.. I really feel the ceramic wick they have in them is superior. So far the nautilus mini is my favorite tank. I did like the mesh in the sperhoid, but im having trouble getting it to wick good.. I have to re try your build tutorial and follow what you did to the letter.

Ah, it's a jig to use those coil heads (instead of a carto) in the Billet Box.

Isn't there one coming out that supports the OCC kanger Subtank coils?

It is already out. Ohman makes it, you need the Boro tank to use it though.

There is also an RBA out for it, Surik or something like that. I did not find out about it until I had already entered in deal to sell my BB :(

Hey, did you ever get to my questions on your post in the high end mechanical thread?

They were life or death, eyes only, black ops classified level important

Unfortunately I firmly believe ceramic cups to be the work of the devil himself and will not abide by them.

I am glad that the people who do enjoy them get along with them. I did not. :)

Thats so funny......Ceramic cups.......I like them because they seem to allow one to build a bit lower resistance because they absorb the heat ( ie my Odysseus's ) but damn if they dont also retain flavours which affects any others one uses in the future and if you use soap then it sucks in that taste and if I get the parts just a tad to tight, CRACK...... and you have to either boil them in milk and distilled water or you have to work out the inherent "off taste"

Its a love/ hate, but mostly love thing for me....... I just use my light , similar fruit or peppermint flavours in my Odys and their ceramics.....

I just found them to be fiddly. I could build with ease and get it right. They do work well for me. Flavor is good. But I really did not like cartos, had few tanks, was not attracted to any other ceramic cup atties. The biggest kicker for me I think is that for no reason at all they would go south on me at the absolute worse time, without fail. To be perfectly honest by the time I got to them other atties produce just as good of flavor, with a lot less fuss and extra tooling :)

Different strokes. I almost went down the Sophia or Diver route again to see if it would make me want to hold on to the BB for a little longer but did not. :( Shame because the BB is such a cool little pocket device. Now my dirty little secret is that I have an awesome, very well performing, great for flavor eGrip with me almost always :) Best 50ish $ I have spent in a LONG time.

I don't enjoy working with the ceramic cups and I don't miss welding nr-r-nr wire. I can do it, but I find it much easier to build RBAs that only require resistance wire (obviously, right?). I did recently build a Diver v2 for nostalgia sake. I put my tank in a shot glass when I was done as an experiment and saw a week later that some juice had leaked out, supporting my move away from them. The Killer and the Diver were my first rebuildables transitioning from cartomizers but I couldn't stand the leaking. My KFLs, Spheroids, and Heron are much more reliable in that area.

Anyone got ant tips on taking apart the Spheeoid? I followed Perseus video to a T, using the fork exactly how he does to take the bottom off. It will not budge a single mm, I mean, not at all. I just have up because the fork is going to slip out of I try any harder. It comes apart so easy in the video, I don't see how it could be so tight.

It's reverse threaded, you know that right?

I insert the fork into the holes on the bottom of the Spheroid, hold the fork firmly in place, and then turn the base.
