The atty seems to thread down all the way with no problem when there is no battery...

Maybe just a shorter pin on the bottom will do it.

If you're using the GPin's long pin in 18350 mode with a button top battery with the GP Paps X and you've screwed the top cap down tight the spring may be fully compressed so your atomizer won't screw all the way down. I agree that a short pin will probably remove the gap in the tube and allow your atomizer to screw down flush too.

Cucco what a killer story and great memory at that.
To be able to look this creature and connect on that level is amazing!
To have a moment to hold tight in your holds priceless.

Jerry Def go a little shorter with your fluff! I don't know why but I have always had almost the perfect amount in every build, it's like Perseas is in my head!
Lol

One of my most memorable moments in life...

Our corporate office building, was on a good bit of acreage. On the backside, there was a waterway. There was also some marshland. The property was a very popular place for bald eagles. We had many nests. My husband and I spent many hours, walking the property, and watching the eagles. Incredible beauty.. Incredible grace.. The eagles were very comfortable with our presence. There were times, they actually landed, and briefly rode atop heavy equipment my husband would be operating. One day, I took a break from my work, and took a walk out the backside of our office building. That day, an eagle started circling, and passing by me extremely close. Close enough, I thought he could possibly bump me with his wings. It was an incredible sight, to see him so close. What beauty! Nature's most perfect accomplishment of flight! However, it was also bit daunting. I was not quite sure of his intentions. He was huge! :) On his last pass, he landed right beside me. He was sitting close enough, I could have reached out and touched him. I looked at him. He looked at me. He sat there for a while, and then flew away. I felt the rush of air from his wings, as he took off. Wow! I will never forget that moment. It was one of those moments, that touches your heart. What a privilege, for him to have shared that moment with me. I felt honored. :)

Great story C.
I saw one circling over my property a year ago, quite high up. I can't imagine what it would be like so close.
I did have a buzzard, or turkey vulture, close by. Funny. They are quite beautiful and majestic in the air. On the ground and close, with their raw-meat-colored head/neck, not so much.
And wild turkeys. Probably apocryphal, but it was said that George Washington or maybe Ben Franklin wanted the wild turkey as the national bird rather than the eagle, because the turkey was so smart. They've been all over the place. I like them, but can't sense their level of intelligence. But, that's what people say about me too.

Was hoping to get a lil help from my last post.

Bought a GP X1.5 second hand and it didn't come with any spares.

Heres a pic of it with a Atty sitting on top. Theres about a millimeter gap between atty and topcap. Theres also a millimeter gap between the tubes on the actual mod.

Think my fix would be to purchase a spare GPin from Vapourart as maybe the shorter pin on top and a shorter contact pin on bottom might fix it...

Can anyone chime in and give me a hand?

Congrats for your X!

You can remove one turn from the GPin's spring to make it shorter. Or throw us an email with your address details to send you the missing short pin free of charge.

Update

I just saw that you have an order ready to go, I'll throw a couple of spare pins inside your parcel.

Perseas,

While I do not own a PILE of GP gear I am a fan and own some that struck my fancy. However, you sir are among the cream of the crop in this business. A fantastic product and especially good customer service. You and a few others have seriously narrowed who I do buy from. You "cream of the crop" people have set the bar high for the rest of the industry. Thank you for that.

Thank you very much for the appraisal. As consumers ourselves we treat others how we want to be treated, life is a circle, thanks again :)

Yes on the "appraisal." Also yes on the business philosophy. When I first got into the business world, my more artistic friends were somewhat critical. But, you/we provide products which benefit others. As long as we treat our customers equitably, all advance.

I'm thinking that this was the ticket, DS. I checked and my coil is actually a 2mm ID so I figured that I needed to play with the fluff. I had it originally at 45mm and juice was over flowing so I went to 125mm and that's when I keep getting a dry wick. So I cut the wick to around 65-70mm and it seems to be working great.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I L-O-V-E my X's and I am really certain that I am going to have the same love affair with my Heron. Of course you all know that I am enamored with all of my GP gear anyway.:)

Jerry I am still just in love with my gp gear every piece I use daily!

    Hi Sparkie :)

I was thinking the discussion we had the other day about people having root canals and I forgot to mention how they can keep the bacteria's population in low numbers, because the removal of one or more root canals is not always simple nor inexpensive. The solution is: daily use of colloidal silver in ionic form, one full teaspoon kept in the mouth for 30 seconds. Today, we have to be worried that in a few years we shall live in a world where the antibiotics will be powerless due to their overuse and soil pollution. Therefore, it is wise to have in our first aid kit, a bottle of colloidal silver in ionic form and even better, if we can make it at home with simple devices like the Collgen2.

The medical history of the silver during the 20th century is horrific albeit enlightening of what the Big Pharma has done; it's safer and thousand times more effective for everyone to use ONLY ionic silver (in plastic and not glass bottles). Devices for home use by Fred Peschel, a great American inventor who designed such portable devices for NASA and they are in use for decades, but you won't hear it from the news.
