IMO, GPin problems, if you could call it that, are good to have. At least we aren't still adjusting top cap screws.

Interestingly enough... my Herons have the long Heron GPin installed and it works for me for all if my AW18490s with the 500 tube and my Aw18650s and vtc5 in 650 mode. (both in my Xs and my v3 (v4 should be here Friday!!!).
I have to say the I only use the top cap in 650 mode though (with drippers) and the short pin still works with both my AW18650 and my VTC5s.

As we have discussed in the past, most batteries are out of specs regarding their length and insulation's thickness and shape differs in all. Our mods can accommodate with no gap any IMR battery in all modes without a Kick and 99% of various batteries with a KIck. This is an engineering nightmare, if you consider all the involved parameters and we do it continuously since 2012, supporting the compatibility factor among all versions. One-tenth of a millimetre can create huge problems in functionality or/and aesthetically, while just half tenth of a millimetre tolerance becomes an issue during polishing. In the GP Outlet category, we frequently put such items of which only fault is an over polished spot of just 0,05 mm.
The suggestion about the short pin is correct; from the next batch the 18650 mod will come with the long one preinstalled. Although the AW batteries are used by many, most vapers prefer the flat top batteries lately.

I got my shipping notice !!! I cant wait for my new button. I was so torn regarding just the button or the whole PAPs 4. I really do find myself wanting another 23mm device. There have been and still are great deals on the X's. But I know if I get another 1.5 Perseas will bestow a new and improved X v2 ? Wishful thinking...

I used to be a die hard Odysseus V2 fan, but with my messed up hands and sight, twisting is getting really difficult. I took a chance on a few new atties, 2 of which are 23mm and they are just as great in taste as the Odys, but so much easier to set up.

Before I got my first X I wasn't too crazy about the tube joints. But I succumbed to having to have an X and found that I thought it looked great. I love them so much I have 3 now! And think that they look great as is with the tube sections. Different strokes....although I'm having a VERY DIFFICULT time resisting the new V4. It is out of this world in the looks department.
Its just that I have so many PAPs 2.5's. I love them, plus now I also have another 3 22mm mods. Too many 22mms. But there is something about a nice 23mm with my hunky 23mm atties that I just love.

v4 has left the UK and should be in my hands friday. Super excited. I've said it here before but, papsX switch is my current favorite switch.
meh. mine is sitting in customs in ohio. I really need to resist the urge to track this all the way to my doorstep.

We realised that there are vapers who wish very clean surfaces for their mods and others who love a unique content or personal notes, so the custom engraving onto a seamless mod is our way to satisfy both sides.
