I received a gift in the mail today. My best friend from home, made me a 510 build bar. A heavy chunk of stainless.. If you know me, you know I have 'this thing' for stainless.. I can't explain it.. Oh my.. This was an incredibly thoughtful gift. He doesn't vape, so he had to go to a vape shop to get a 510 piece to test it. Don't tell anyone.. I cried when I opened the package. He even inscribed a message on the bottom.

Been an interesting shipping week for me.

Its such a pleasure to use GP devices. I actually enjoy maintaining them, they stay clean for a long time and when they need cleaning its amazing how they perform like new each time. It rare to find things that are made so well and actually made to LAST forever.

I love GP switches and GP also has the BEST top cap. The G-Pin has spoiled me because I have yet to use a MOD with a more amazing pos contact.

It is wonderful because it self adjusts to different batteries with out having to re adjust for the minor differences from battery to the next, even if its the same brand in size.

The new design of the PAPs 4 switch had de-throned by PAPs 2.5 ( I love that switch ) and the X switch. I love how it is gap-less and simple.

I hope the new X has a switch with the same qualities and design of the PAPs 4, it would be perfection, especially if it were compatible with previous X

I'm considering pulling the trigger on the latest piccoloid, to add a second to my collection.
Question: the deck and coil posts are different than my spheroid. If I use the same build (fluff and silica wick) do I need to make any adjustments to reflect the new deck configuration?

No. You can build it similarly ~ just that this time around the coil is positioned in one side, unlike the earlier Spheroids where the coil was in the center between the two posts.

And when you tighten the ends of the coil place them both between the two posts and then wrap them around. I prefer to put both legs between the posts and then wrap them inside-out in 2 different directions, counterclockwise and clockwise. An exposed wire is possible to give muted flavour due to a "hot leg".
