If it helps anyone, I'm using the Heron v2 with the shortest of the gpins and my paps v4.

It auto-fires with the new AW18650s but instead of using the short switch screw the taller delrin switch spacer works fine for me and now works perfectly with all my VTC4/5, efest, and AW batteries :)

I need to revise this. Apparently I have several "new" AW, in the new packaging/wrap, that are actually different. I have some of the AW "new" 18650s that are 2000 mAh. This works fine with the standard paps v4 switch screw. I also have AW "new" 18650s that are 2200 mAh.

The 2200mAh version is the version that needs the short switch screw.

If this is somehow old news please feel free to disregard!

All AW variations are covered with the existing spare parts, one has to choose the right combination of negative post and insulator.
Thank you for clarifying it for others with the same batteries.

I know I haven’t been around much but I wanted to stop my busy life and wish everyone a very Merry and Safe Christmas.

Take time and enjoy the good times with loved ones close to you. Life is short and everyday a gift.

I will be enjoying these days with GP gear, family, and my Jo.

Yeah, I know the feeling, very few people like the truth, it is too raw for their taste, they prefer something more processed instead :)
My ‘directness’ seems to be showing its colors even more brightly with the candidates for president that we have.

I find that in watching debates and listening to candidates I can compare it to a bad movie. Don’t want to watch but can’t help but keep watching.

This world is changing my friend. And the changes aren’t always good. So we have to keep ways to keep good close to us as hopes that somehow, someway they radiate out at some point.

Oh. And I may be late to the voting but I’m with the fluff all the way. I enjoy the fluffless setup with certain juices. It is easy to setup and have one device that you don’t have to worry about fluff with. But in the end, the “old school” rules. That may be because of my vaping style and/or my “old school” mentality and either is fine with me.

The flavor and performance in the original spheroids still hold the candle. As I see it I may in the minority, but I’m just shooting from the hip. :)

I have over 20 years to watch candidates, their repetitive nature bores me to death :)
The only sure thing in the world is the change and many great changes came from a few brave hearts, historically speaking. In my opinion, the history or the time is not a linear progression as they want us to believe, it is rather a journey in a labyrinth, a play of balance between the myriad elements of the human heart. When one element is honoured above the others in a culture or a person, disaster comes and the cycle starts again with new configurations of the original elements. A dream in a dream. An aware moment can change our perspective, to cultivate love coupled with awareness leads the gratitude to blossom at the end. As you said, we have to keep ways to keep good close to us and I add to think in a good conscious way for everyone. To think in a bad way for others belongs to the evil side, no need to reinforce it. A change that seems no good is not necessarily a bad one, it is just a challenge to hone our spirit and enrich us with diversity at the end of the day. And yes, the good always radiate out touching the heart, even if no word is spoken.

A good reading for the Christmas days and not only.

I think I have found the perfect side-by-side stealth mod for my Spheriod V4.

The Runt V3 is 80x40x20mm, light, and available in a variety of colors.
Single 14500 battery.

Pictures on Facebook at Runt Mods. I'm getting 4 and will follow up with
a review when I receive them.

What size fluff are you all finding works for you with what type (pg/vg ratio) liquid?

I'm a little stumped as to why my Heron v2 works perfectly until I put in it my pocket and walk around with it (even upside-down). That's when a lot of liquid comes out of the air control. It doesn't flood at all when standing up on my table.

I'm using 50/50 liquid with 16mm x 140mm of fluff and I'm hesitant to use more as it feels a bit dense and I'm thinking I probably should go for more.

I'm using a 2.4mm coil with both wick tails pointed up (standard kgd wick). The coil is 2mm above the deck hole.

note: oh ... and it's been about 80°F here during most of my tests.
