The only thing they should ask was what time they could come to pick up the parcel, and you had to print the form we sent you, nothing more. We have received many remote pickups worldwide. I hope you didn't consent with any additional requests, it seems to me that some DHL employee was too lazy to do his job, or read the docs regarding the remote pickup. You had only to print the form and fill in your address details. Everything else, custom declarations, etc, was pre-filled by us.
We received it on Friday, once we have a free time to test it, I'll update you, no worries :)
Thanks. Yeah I had about six emails and indulged out three or four forms. Then when they came they said itinerant right so I pulled your form and told them that was all I could offer anymore. They definitely had things backwards.

Once again I'd like to thank you and point out to everybody how wonderful the customer support experiences and the purchase experience from vapour art/GP.

Big thumbs up from me.

So what size coils are you
Lot using in the heron v2? With a 2.5mm coil I can't really use the amount of cotton bacon I typically like to use. When I can pack it in there I get s really nice dense vape ( it wicks like rayon baskcally but tastes more neutral)

So unless I cut the wick
To a point or split it similar to @qorax it won't really fit through the chimney top. If I use less cotton in the 2.5mm it floods. If I split it or taper it I seems to get a combination of dry hits and flooding. I just can't seem to find the goldilocks setting here. The way I wick the spheroid is like building s hurricane or taifun gt2 where the wick is bent inside the chimney and butts up against the side. I think @qorax did a video on it too. The chimney for the heron though is stubby - short snd wide so that doesn't work. I also find it pretty fiddly to get the cotton through such small holes with the initial positioning.

Thanks for the help

okay, I need some advice from the experts... I'm stumped by this and an wondering how you all carry your Herons and walkabout without it leaking out of the AFC.

I'm currently using 12mmx130mm of fluff with 50/50 liquid. It doesn't leak when sitting upright on a table or carry it completely inverted but whenever I walk, or drive, I get liquid leaking out of the AFC. quite a bit of it too. I've gone up to 190mm length of fluff and I still get the same leading while jostled.

I'm using a 2.4mm coil at roughly 1.4 ohms. The leaking gets worse when the device is warm and have been chain vaping buy I have not yet changed the diameter of my coil.

I only use KGD cotton for my wicks. I've tried single tail, dual tail, big wicks small wicks all with the same results. I'm currently running a dual-wick with two small tails pointing up and two pointing down. still leaking. here's a picture:

916d1ca1bded005cff32f896b654abd4.jpg

The taste is awesome. I still want to stick with this but I'm not having any success kicking this leak and I really need to be able to carry this around with me wherever.

Any suggestions? wick positioning? I've tried pretty much everything else but drilling a hole in the top of the topper and using it like an old Heron.

edit: I guess I could try mixing a thicker liquid.I used to vape 30/70 pg/vg but just really prefer 50/50 and would rather not change that.

This is calculated in my mixing, including flavor, so the total ratio is 50/50 and NOT flavor added to a 50/50 base which would make for an even thinner liquid.

We have tested it with 100% VG, 50/50 and 70/30 PG/VG with no leakage from 0.5Ω up to 2.5 Ω with fluff, 2-2,5 mm coil. I use it continuously with GVC 50/50. The tails have to be longer than the ones in the photo and both tail ends to be positioned upwards. I keep the interior of the housing clean to avoid remnants from previous builds to leak when the Heron gets warm.

I can't advise for the cotton bacon, I only use KGD cotton, I leave the cotton edges long enough and very slightly twisted when I place the topper above them with the slots oriented to the sides of the coil (short distance between the slots). Then I cut them near the openings of the topper. I don't bend the cotton inside the chamber, I use 2,5 mm coils usually at 1,2-1,4Ω and at the moment I am experimenting on a 2.5Ω coil on a regulated device for a better flavour delivery.

Ok thank goodness here's some redemption

Also. I'm craving a cigarette so badly. I need to get some tobacco flavored eliquid I'm about to do a small order from yaeliq. I smoked Marlboro - can anyone recommend which tobacco eliquid a to try from there. Or anything local to the USA and widely available? It's a bit off topic I guess but I out it in my GP stuff

Hello! I use House of Liquid Cigarillos and Black Note Adagio and Prelude. They are expensive but really good NET liquids. I use them in my GP Piccoloid 1.2ohm. I think the Piccoloid is really good with the Tobacco liquids.
I havent tried Yaeliq tobaccos but I here the Turkish one is good.

Thanks very much I very nearly gave in last night when my mother-in-law who lives with us after cigarettes lying out and it was about two in the morning I couldn't sleep again. Fortunately my willpower and commonsense won out and I didn't end up smoking

It's been almost a year now for me and I don't want to go back. I'm surprised I still have such strong cravings at times.

I'll looming to the recommended. I have s few samples of yaeliq tobaccos coming and also a large bottle of the premium
Tobacco blend which is on sale $11/100ml this month. I ended up ordering around 18
Samples and -"a few 100 ml bottles so that should last a while and expose me
To More options.

I have a feeling the idea of Vaping tobacco flavored sounds better than its going to be :)

As a tip for others when I have been craving a cigarette a lot I mix some flavorless one level up from my normal Nicotine level. That seems to be working pretty well.

I ran out of my ADV which is always bad for me. Regarding temptation to smoke.!

Thanks for the advice, P. :) Since I can't take out the gpin without removing the coil easily I never thought about the possibility of the liquid being remnants from the housing. I'll try that!

What happens when the wicks are too short? Mine seems to be working fine but will give it a shot.

Good to hear that you didn't give in!

I've been off of cigarettes completely for a little over three years (smoked 1-2pad for 22 years) ... almost.

The reason I say almost is because I've had a couple in that time that proved to me that cigarettes were rather disgusting and I didn't want to go back to it. In order to do that, though, you have to actually like vaping I think.

That didn't happen for me until I found a good atty. :)

edit: I started with tobacco-flavored liquids and didn't like any of the other flavors. Now I'm vaping fruit-n-cremes and desserts. Who woulda thunk it? btw, for some reason the flavor that got me away from tobacco was banana (the artificial, candy type flavor)

waitaminute ... so, P, if I am remembering correctly you said you use a 90mm length of fluff? If that's correct and you are using 50/50 liquid I am using too much fluff. I increased my fluff length to account for a thinner juice because I thought you were using a high-vg gvc.

If that's the case I need to shorten my fluff dimensions...

I see the spheroid v 4 is out. I really like the design getting rid of the fluff and having the wicks soak up juice directly.. I am low on cash lately, I was thinking of maybe selling my spheroid and getting the v4. Anyone know what the older model spheroids go for now a days? I think its a V2. I would also like to do a review on it. It seems like sub ohm tanks and cloud chasing is the only thing this community is about these days. Sleek, small and cool looking devices seem to be ignored. I don't know why.

So I vape mostly 90% vg sometimes a bit more thin down to 80 but rarely below that. I'd like to give then fluff another try before I decide to sell the HnP just to be more fair and make. Sure I've done the best I can. Im not new to. Building but I cannot get a build in here without fluff that doesn't eventually flood and I really don't care for the way the chimney works as I typically wick pretty thick.. I also feel the fluff setup generates better taste. If prefer to have the hnp size for the nightstand and around the house but so far for my style of vaping (which I realize causes issues with A lot of tanks)the spheroid in the piccoloid setup is just working better for me.

So with all that in mind what length should I be trying for the best result using fluff?

I appreciate the help. I'm getting relatively frustrated now between the flooding and flavor not coming through as well as the spheroid. I can give 90mm a shot.

Also what coil..diameter are you all using? I've tried 2.5 and 1.5. The latter.leidices slightly more flavor and doesn't generate as much beat to the body of the tank.

I got a half liter of.my adv in as well as a bunch of other juice. I have several samples of.tkbacco flavors coming shortly so I should be OK to.mske it through. I really want to hit that year milestone it's a huge one for me as I made it 11 months previously. Never a year.

The length of the fluff depends on the liquid's viscosity (PG/VG percentage and amount of flavour); a good wicking is related to the resistance value. All of our tests have been done with KGD and silica, I can't predict how the bacon cotton behaves or any other material.

Hey gang. So I haven't posted in a while, but I've tried with everything to keep up with the posts. And honestly, much has been about the latest Heron which I opted out of obtaining. But here are some general comments I will entertain in my latest unknown amount of presence. :)

I have spent some time in the past (not in this forum) "entertaining myself" by testing my own adaptations and fixes to other mods/atties from others. I will RARELY voice complete disgruntlement in a product without first testing my own "fixes". This has amounted to trying slightly different oring sizes, sometimes fractionally different. I've collected a whole toolbox of them. And to be honest, there is NOTHING wrong with testing several builds, adjustments, configurations to try to determine a problem before giving in and sending one back for a second look. I've done it many times. Anyone who would challenge someone from "playing to discover and learn", would want to spend a moment in the posters' shoes.

I came to GP almost 3 years ago. A good friend of a few here, who they called Idaholandho, had spoken about GP and the products, and praised Perseas and his entire team. He spoke of all factors for a while. All this while I performed many "tests" I reference in the second paragraph. This went on for a few weeks and/or months. I lost track. But I am a dedicated man. I am loyal. I will ride the storm until I can't ride it any longer.

So I made my first purchase. Jojo (my wife from historical posts) had purchased a beautiful Paps X SS v1, and subsequently a Paps Lux. Within days, Perseas had made adjustments to improve the mod and stated that all those with the V1, would get the replacement part free of charge. Now...in my history, I knew I would have had to clamor and beg for that replacement part, kneeling in a corner praying to the vape gods that my 10th request would actually pan out. So I calmly waited to see what would transpire. Without so much as a breath of contact in EITHER direction, one day a package showed up at my door. Inside? The very parts that Perseas said he would send everyone. I was completely sold. Not only did it work just like he said it would, but the records GP must keep to know everyone that received that part originally must be impeccable. I am one that can be remembered or forgotten. But this group is a whole FAMILY - and none forgotten.

Over the three years, I have added many more GP children to the fold. And I rank in order of preference the Paps Titanium X, the piccoloid (v1 above the v2), and then the rest of the Xs and Paps. None for performance, but many for nostalgia or my vamping style. The TiX became a unicorn, where many huddled on a virtual "bench". The Piccoloid suits my travel to work and style of vaping and the preference in MY case still leans on the V1. I enjoy the V2, but the style leads more to V1. And, while I speak of V2, I prefer the fluff builds. It's nice to not have to worry about fluff in one setup. But what' she worry. You set it once, and forget until a refill is required, at which point you would need that refill either way. I prefer the edge I taste flavor wise as well.

And since I'm on flavor, and prefer the PicV1, I also will state that I prefer the spheroid vape to the Heron vape. I get HUGE clouds on the original Heron. I CAN get huge clouds on the Spheroid, and the latest combo that Perseas calls the Piccloid is the perfect matched pair for the 16mm size. I opted not to go for the latest Heron for the above reasons.

Oh...I sold all the rest of the gear by the way. I don't need to fiddle. I don't need to cry, or swear, or throw a fit. GP has it's home here. Vaping is supposed to be enjoyable. Pick up your setup and go. The last 3 years have proven that to be the case. And those retired and reliable SnP tanks? We have a few of those in daily rotation as well.

Perseas, his team at GP, and the customer service is the same today as it was day one for me. No need to hook someone and walk away. They stand by each product, each member, each sale. I don't post often of late, but I'll stand by that.

Hmm. Who knew.

Ketchup (Listeni/ˈkɛtʃəp/ or Listeni/ˈkɛtʃʌp/), or catsup, is a table sauce. Traditionally, different recipes featured ketchup made of egg white, mushrooms, oysters, mussels, walnuts, or other foods,[1][2] but in modern times the term without modification usually refers to tomato ketchup, often called tomato sauce or red sauce (in Ireland).[citation needed] It is a sweet and tangy sauce, typically made from tomatoes, a sweetener, vinegar, and assorted seasonings and spices. Seasonings vary by recipe, but commonly include onions, allspice, cloves, cinnamon, garlic, and sometimes celery.[3] Heinz tomato ketchup is the market leader, with an 82% market share in the UK.[4]

Tomato ketchup is often used as cleaning agent for GP Gpin parts in order to restore to a like New condition. A good soak in a shot glass with some ketchup followed up by a n ultrasonic cleaner bath solves wonders. Some even add a little vinegar to dilute it into a more liquid form. (Not to include the plated pin variety). A few others use ketchup as a condiment with various dishes that are usually served hot, including chips/fries, hamburgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, french toast, eggs, and grilled or fried meat. Ketchup is sometimes used as a basis or ingredient for other sauces and dressings.

Wow Yankee. You disappear for months (as have I) and reappear and the floodgates burst.
All very well said and well expressed and completely true.
Thanks for saying it, and especially thanks to GP for all the reasons you spoke of.
