Order# 1601 has been made for a Gus Lord (no/AFC), thank you very much!

I saw 9 units in stock before my purchase, and like I always do with out-of-country purchases, I go through check out to see what further damage will be incurred. Imagine my surprise to find out that aside from the currency conversion, what the price shows on the site for the hardware is all that you pay. Well, damn! It's rare for me to pull the trigger so effortlessly with little to no vacillating.

Plus, without the extra charges, I don't have to be concerned with paying 2x shipping for making another purchase for the ESTIA, if/when I get one.

I do not know how well this mod will suit me, but I can tell anyone reading this that I have been searching endlessly for a certain kind of mechanical mod and this, so far, feels right! Thanks qorax for the wealth of insight, and dspin, thanks for being that extra vote of confidence! Always appreciate seeing you, D!

Same here buddy, we havent talked in awhile. Lord looks much better in person, very light compared to other SS PV's - you will love it. You know how many PV's I have - this one goes with me everywhere, everyday with a Prometey sitting atop

As reg. removing the deck section while the tank is full, well I have not done it ~ but I guess if it could be done on the Aqua - it is plausible with the ESTIA too.

You see both these devices are very similar. And the tank section of ESTIA is totally 'press-fit', not screwed-in like the Aqua ~ while the Chimney Tubes of both are screwed-in as well as protruding out of the top-cap. Besides, both have removable drip-tips*.

Just thought of mentioning, not related to this discussion: The Aqua drip-tip is semi-proprietary, not many tips fit in it. But the ESTIA drip-tip connector is absolutely universal, every drip-tip of mine fits in it√

Sounds like maybe there is a chance. It wouldn't be a deal breaker in anyway it does make tweaking a little faster. So if I'm lucky I will find out and see

So Gus website is showing that I can add the Estia to my cart but it is on backorder. Has anyone else submitted an order yet?

EDIT: OH I see now that maybe my order was not supposed to go through. I fear that I may have submitted the order before he really wanted it to go through as now there is no way to add it again.

I sent an email apologizing for this and asking how to proceed. I'm such a fool and should have known to await Qorax' word. I am a fool, But an excited fool!

OK so Q has mentioned "should be this weekend" so here I am at work tabbing over and F5ing the Gus website. Not like every minute, I am reasonable, I have a timer set on my phone, every 5 minutes.

I have seen some times of "high load on server messages" either means I am missing out on the ESTIA or I have also seen some new additions to the site that only happen for a minute "18650 Lord Tube Mod with no picture."

I got an email from GUS and they said that in about a month they will offer Lord engraved tanks for the Estia. I also asked about 510 connectivity in the future so I'll let you know what they say.
