I've been "fooling" around with vaping for about a year and still smoking. Sometimes I could go for a few hours or so without an analog, then I'd smoke again. Finally, about two months ago I stocked up on my supplies, batteries, attys, etc. and decided to give it a real try without cigarettes. It is really going well and I'm so surprised! I use different levels of nicotine, from zero to 26 mg and I use Nicorette gum, sometimes even just a half. For me, this is not an all or nothing journey, at least at this point. If I do break down and have a cigarette, (which I have done) I'm not going to kill myself over it. When I find that I want a cigarette really bad, I make myself use the gum and sit down and vape for a while first. That seems to be working. It just takes longer for the nicotine to get into your bloodstream, but if you can wait a few minutes it will. My lungs feel tremendous. I can breath easily and deeply. My cough is gone in just these few weeks. Vaping takes some work and some planning. Keep your batteries charged, your atty's clean and the carts ready. Nothing worse than wanting to vape and only being able to produce thin little streams of vapor. I think this stuff might be saving my life!
I love reading the stories of others. I was a little discouraged because it seemed effortless for some but there is value in our collective stories.
Best regards to all!
