I smoked 35 years, 2 1/2 or more a day at the end. I ordered an e-cig kit ( 510 ) in Oct. I got the kit, charged it up overnight and started vaping on Oct. 26. I haven't had a cig. since. I can smell, and taste again! I do feel better. I love what has happened to me!

I used this forum and read and re-read on the tips and tricks section.
In the Ask the expert section, I would do a search on a question I had and found no only had others asked the same questions but already posted great answers to questions I had. It take some getting use to but once you master it, it is wonderful. Buy small amounts of juice until you fine 1 ot 2 you like.I use 18mg but will drop to 9 as soon as I run out of all my 18. It may not be for you but it has been wonderful for me!

Here and back
Stopped smoking analogs over three years ago.... (don't regret it but missed them like crazy all the while!)... gained 25 pounds (eating no more & exercising like crazy to no avail).... the depression that set in after six months of 'no smoking' was horrible too.. but I hung in there and didn't touch a cig.... now, after three years of intolerable depression, lethargy and weight gain, I discover the e-cig... and my BODY is thanking me every day for it! Apparently the 'nicotene' was all I needed to obliterate the depression, lethargy & weight gain. I have all the BENEFITS of smoking without the Health Risks... I'll never smoke again... but I'll NEVER stop vaping!
Your quote would go far for many women. We're all afraid of the weight gain. You proved the point.

I'm off now. only a couple of days but i'm just to darn cheap to buy any more and I ran out. The ecig does me just fine. I got my first cigarette from Gen George Armstrong Custer, thats how long I smoked.

Hi, just wanted to say we seem to have a lot of people from Tacoma who started in January. Maybe we need a social group:)

I started vaping on the 2nd of Jan. and it has been the only time in 25 years that I have made it past 2 days without a cig. I am ecstatic and hopeful. Good luck to all of us on this journey.

It's been 8 months for me, had 1 partial cig out of curiosity and hated it in that time.
I was one of those people that couldn't quit on their own and unbearable to be around in the few attempts I made to quit. I never thought I'd be able to put them down.
Honestly if it wasn't for my PV I wouldn't have been able to ( or wanted) to stop.

I'm another one of the "I wasn't planning to quit; it just happened." I ordered a super-mini back in May to use when travelling and liked the taste/hit so much I put my analogs on top of the fridge and gave the e-cig a real try. It took a few days and wasn't easy but I finished that pack of analogs on June 5 and just didn't buy another pack.

For me the key to quitting was making it easier to pick up an e-cig than an analog.

I stopped... that's all... I used to smoke for years but when I stopped, I just stopped... didn't have any problems.

Marijuana is not addictive in the sense that body begins to crave it. But you can develop a habitual addiction - much like someone who get into the habit of wiping their mouth after every wipe or avoiding stepping on cracks on the sidewalk.

It's all a matter of changing your patterns. If you were using pot to help you get to sleep, then find something else that will lull you to bed - read a book, turn on music or the tv with the volume low, drink warm milk, or eat a slice of turkey.
