I vape all day at work but I don't really work with the public. I'd gotten a new white battery with an orange light and every time this co-worker saw it she'd think GASP! She's SMOKING A CIGARETTE in here! Then realized it was my e-cig of course.

Apprehensive to do it in a restaurant or somenthing but husband & I are scheduled to eat out (a rare treat) in a week. I think I might try it then. I usually vape all the way up to the door at wal-mart, then put it away till I'm on my way back out again.

I'm afraid of confrontation because I tend to get assy with people, without even meaning to. I tend to sound defensive I'm told. :D So far, I've just been telling new people it's like a nicotine inhaler, then quickly explain the liquid and vapor thing. I usually get nothing more than "that's the coolest thing ever" repsonses.

Any general quick-response tips for restaurant/public vaping?

Just dont act like it something that you need to hide or be ashamed of.
