I looked her profile up about a week ago. I saw she had just posted on the NT thread after being gone for a long time. Scarf was heavy on this thread for a long while then kind off fell off. Cripes, I haven't been on that NT thread in months. And I was there fairly early on that one.
NOLA in the summer is nothing nice , we're below sea level and surrounded by water . Many culinary institute grads want to do their externship in NOLA , but a lot of restaurants especially in the quarter are historic properties and the buildings can't be modified , it's against the law so the ventilation systems in the kitchens border on nonexistent , I've worked in 140 degree heat no exaggeration and something happens here sometimes called super saturation where the humidity exceeds 100% don't know how that works but it happens , so it goes without saying that a lot of those students don't make it through the first week . It does get brutal here in the summer , so I usually look forward to winter .We get the crazy heat and humidity here too, but not the smog and pollution that I experienced growing up in Bombay. Bangkok is no different. It's BRUTAL.. You need a shower about 10 minutes after you leave your home.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
Hmm...motorcycle. I'd go with that.
I was in Los Angeles and it is lawful for sickles to ride between the cars (at least it was then). Of course, the traffic never moves on the LA Freeway system so these sickles would be tooling 60MPH between the stopped traffic. I'm like, you gotta be crazy!!!

Please be careful! I'm seeing what the weather is like up there, the roads don't look good at all.
