I'm enjoying the Olympics and a nice drink. Doors are open and hoping for it to cool off just a bit. I'd rather have the doors and windows open than having the air on.

I hear ya Robin, after being up in the 90's today, it feels nice to have a cool evening breeze coming in through the windows. It's now a cool 78˚ with 61% humidity.

A long time ago, a girlfriend stuck a loaded pistol in my face because she found out I was seeing another woman. She was crazy enough to pull the trigger, but I knocked the gun out of her hand before she could.

I told this story to someone recently who asked if the other woman was worth it.

I replied that I guess she was - I've been married to her for 36 years.

G'morning army!! Mrs Tater and I are just finishing up last minute preparation for our cruise. I just finished up remodeling the vapor bug-out box to carry our Reos, chargers, coil wire, meter, ers, etc... In 5 hours I'll be arguing with people.. Explaining that its NOT unreasonable to troll for Kings off the back of a cruise ship
I will see you folks Sunday night. Hopefully, Dusty and the General can keep Robin, BK, and especially that pesky Lion in line

Honey please, stealthy cats don't trip lights and cameras. A Lion is not your common variety garden tabby cat, all clumsy and stuff.

I read and heard stories in India of maneaters breaking into homes and taking occupants from the middle of a communal sleeping area without the others even knowing it was there..

So yeah, those screened Lanai, cameras and lights may as well be grass blowing in the wind with the Lion stalking a gazelle.

When we eloped we drove to Yuma on Arizona/California border to get married on California side-no waiting period/blood tests etc.
The chapel minister was having a poker game and we used a couple of the players as our witnesses- hehe.

Mrs. Chak and I didn't actually elope - it went kind of like this...

We'd been working together for about a year waiting on tables @ Denny's Van Nuys, CA. One Valentine's Day we had the swing shift together (3-11) and she gave me a small pin that read "LOVE". I said, "That's sweet of you. I can always use a little love."

Her reply, "I've got a whole lot of love." She moved in the next week and shortly after that we took a vacation together and drove out to Vegas. Twenty-eight years later....
