We just had a lone stray pop-up rain shower right over my house. Very refreshing and a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting any rain.

Actually healing pretty well
I'm taking advantage of Rick nicely and letting him do most everything around the house. Tomorrow will be 4 weeks and feel like I'm on track to be 100% by the 6 week mark.

BK glad you are healing well and hope it continues that way. Good thoughts for your wife's recovery as well, just takes time and patience.
Robin I'm so happy you are doing well, just be careful not to overdo with the company in town, get plenty of rest.
It's been a wild and crazy weekend here, just getting ready to jump in the shower then make a quick visit to see how little Nellie is doing. She is sleeping and eating well which is a real positive, other than that they just have to ride it out. I've got a felling that grandpa and I will have a nice long nap when we get home this afternoon, then a little laundry, light housework and prepare for the work week again. June is always very busy for us as well with our annual sale. (I know...a sale on monuments? Seriously many people purchase their memorials pre-need and that is why we are so busy during the sale.)
Hope everyone enjoys the day and a big Thank You to all that have served our country to protect our freedom.

ever had one of those DUHHH!! moments? stepped in to check on the crockpot temp for my extracting and noticed that the temp was staying rather low even tho it was set on the hi temp position.... it shouldnt be taking that long to heat up... then I noticed that it wasnt plugged in...

I forgot to cut all the dead skin off, before I tried to dress the wound.
