I'm glad to see you here tonight. Your posts are positive and helpful, and you made me feel welcome.

The legs are nice, David, but it was her user name. My 3rd oldest daughter loves the word "always" and has a tattoo of it on her wrist. (Ouch!) plus always was always nice to me.

Well speaking for myself I think I'll leave my tried mind right where it is. In the gutter. It's quite content there. Plus I think it suffers from agoraphobia. It would have a panic attack if it leaves the gutter. Yes I looked it up.

Welcome LA... Nice to have another friendly poster here. Glad you found your way.

Sadly, I did not have the sweet relaxing day I hoped for. I worked my .... off and my feet are throbbing. I had 1 15 min break at 11am. In 12 hours I saw 23 patients and admitted 10 of them. I trained a new person at the same time. My favorite boy nursing student came to check on me several times and took out my trash and cleaned a few beds for me. If I was 20 I'd probably be in love . LOL... Seriously he'll be a great nurse.

The kayfun arrived. It's enormous and heavy. But I am looking forward to getting to know it better when I have some time!

Huge respect for your work too. I've been friends with and related to a lot of nurses, and it's a difficult, under-appreciated career. I admire anyone who does it well, long-term. I am impressed that your moniker is "MostlySunny" - shows you are just the right person for the job!

Yes!!! Congrats on 100 days!! How's it been for you? I had a really rough couple of first weeks, and another patch of rough days at 3 months. But since then it's been pretty easy.

And thanks for the kind words. It was a rough day and that helped!

Thanks always & Mostly (hee hee, sounds cute that way ) It's been much better than I could have ever hoped. All started with the flu. I had decided if I got sick and couldn't smoke, this time I would launch from that and quit. For 2 weeks I was furiously chewing 2 mg gum and hating it. I was starting to chew my furniture! My oldest daughter (who is a CNA working with Alzheimer's patients, so I really do appreciate your profession, MostlySunny) gave me a knock off e-cig and that did it.

I got antsy at 3 weeks though, and moved up to 24 mg. That did it for me on the cig-alikes. Now with the Halo Tirton, I'm moving back down to 18 mg.

Congrats on your new gear! I saw that you have to wait until the weekend to play with it.

Mexican Tepache is fermented, but it adds lager for the alcohol, so that's sorta cheating.

I wonder what ripe pineapple would ferment into?? Hula!! since you live in pineapple country, is there a fermented pineapple drink??

Dr Oz is fast becoming a quack. If you want some info about vaping, check out CASAA. That may help convince mom.

That's exciting! My mom will be so proud. (Actually, she is proud that I quit smoking. Not as sure about this vaping thing, though she did let me vape in her living room. But she also loves Dr. Oz - so that could change. Sadly.)

I'm trying all of the tobacco flavors that sound appealing before I go for the really big bottles. Already ended up stuck with a big bottle of a flavor I could not stand to vape by the time it arrived. Who knew how much your tastebuds change in those first couple of weeks?!?
