think I need to invent Neodynium wood.... no nails needed, just put 2 pieces close to each other and insta-bond
I'll give you a basic explanation of it . The Magma has airflow coming from under the coil same as a kayfun , but there's two separate airflow channels on it for dual coil builds and it holds 1ml of juice so you're not constantly dripping , RDA's usually have better flavor than RBA's , the Magma pushes that further than most by design , it's a flavor machine , but cut your teeth building a kayfun first , dual coil builds are a little bit trickier to get right but they are worth the effort IMO .My default reaction to that would be to protest,"but I don't drip blah blah blah", but this is a borg army now, and I fear I've already been assimilated.

Sam you can go lower say .8-.9 , the SVD will fire .8 dual coils at 15 watts no problem at all , it has a 5 amp limit and it lets you make use of it .I cant wait until I get my Magma, I need to watch some guild dual coil build videos though. I want to build it dual coil and get it around 1.0 - 1.2 ohm though if thats possible and still have it fire properly on my SVD
I'm going to start practicing when I get a spare Kayfun. No telling how long Bronze's coil will last on the one I have now, and I'm not about to tear it down just for the sake of experimentation. It's working too well.

I did a full rebuild on mine while waiting for the mail today just for practice, I built it in about 15 minutes total, came out at 1.5 ohm and that was very close to my exact target (1.4). Using rayon makes it so easy, stuff it in and get it laid on the deck properly and DONE.
You will have at least a 2 1/2 to 3 month life on that coil , I can't remember what Bronze's record was on his coils but he had a memorial service the last time one died .I'm going to start practicing when I get a spare Kayfun. I may have a go at rayon. Seems like I remember you saying something vaguely positive about it.![]()
How can you state a preference on something you haven't tried yet ? I have to give things more consideration than that and I'm hardheaded and opinionated .I just prefer it at around 1.0 at the lowest. I have a roll of 30 gauge wire and am thinking 2 coils with 8 wraps each.

.4 is a bit warm in the Magma , .7-.9 is pretty sweet with duals on it , the SVD doesn't have any trouble pushing them , LA can fill you in on the difference in vape quality going lower , she had hers setup to run on a provari to start off with .I did a dual coil build on my Kraken and I tried it at 1.3 ohm and at .4 ohm and for sure liked the higher one better. Only problem is that my Legend would barely get it hot enough to vape on at 15w when at 1.3ohm. I vaped it for half an hour at 30w on a mod at the shop and it was fantastic!
