And from what you said earlier, I assume that Mrs. Killer is already at a point where she can kick your tush about the house when required?
:D

no... actually she got a bit active and tore something loose... shes "really" starting to understand what 12-18 months of nothing is about...
( Dr. told her 12-18 months of minimal to no activity to heal properly) vacuuming and laundry must be on "her" list of nothing

Mornin All....

I got yeastie beasties :) they are all swimming around making little bubbles in my beer...

Morning... eh, evening Army!

Got a little down time while my yeastie beasties crawling around a lump o' flour working at passing gas and making bubbles in the dough of a couple batches of whole wheat bread. And even more yeastie beasties working if my mug trying to put a rise on me.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. I'll be sure to report in and send some pics when I get there.

Got the preliminary packing done; even got my vape gear and backups pretty near packed. I'll be taking Crackberry in the KFMini/Spinner on board, while White Lie and Sludge will hide away in the baggage with the Provari Mini, batteries, chargers, tool kit and such. Going to scatter them through the two bags so as not to look too suspicious.

Hope you all have a grand weekend.

Tomorrow afternoon; my flight leaves at 3:30 PM and I get in LAX at 7 PM on the same day. I always feel weird about that... you're on the plane for almost a whole day and you end up at your destination 4 hours later.

When are your Mom & Dad flying in? Are they coming through LAX?

Yeah, messes me up too. Leave Sunday from Goa, fly all day, arrive Toronto same afternoon.

They are flying in on the 15th via Doha (Qatar) and Montreal.

You really don't realize the stress on the body doing what we consider the simplist things. Just 4 weeks of doing VERY little was hard, I shudder at a year or more! I'm glad I've followed docs orders because I'm just about 100%. I would say I'm at 97%. I'm still letting hubby do any lifting over 10lbs, at least until the 6 weeks are up.

Good Morning!

Chak, safe travels and hope all your gear makes it through :nun:

but that is suspicious looking.... looks like you are trying to hide something.... if you are going to do that, do the same with your cologne/toothpaste/etc too. Make it look like you are just unorganized altogether ;)

Speaking of which, I was in the 7-11 type store near where I work and saw a card of! Ronson flints. First thing I thought of was.. "Dad!" - then I though what a waste of resources with all those disposable bic lighters. Getting nostalgic I guess.

I still have one of those Zippos. My sister gave it to me years ago. She had it engraved with my name on one side and a picture of a big ole bass on the other side. Great for Canadian fishing trips in windy conditions or when the boat is moving.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I have been away for a while. I know there is no way I can catch up. But I just wanted to pop in and say hello.
