It did for the Sony but not that other brand. That could be a battery problem though.
He tried 3 batteries, the Sony flat top, the AW IMR button top and some brand I've never seen that is longer than 65mm and if I remember correctly the bottom cap closed for both the Sony and the AW

You see Burmanii on the site?! That's the new Geoffs Blend. They could not replicate the old one due to the Cinnamon flavour being changed at the manufacturer level. Geoffs Blend has well and truly been discontinued. :(

I see. Such a shame. It would seem you have investigated this matter further than I gave you credit, Panthera Tigris.

Been waiting all day to get home to Mamaw's leftover meatloaf & biscuit. Well worth the wait.... No, I don't want to see any man strip-tease. Ever. Am I the ONLY person who really could not care less what Busrado (whatever) says or does ? I've watched three vaping videos EVER. A Woodvil being made, Rob O'Neill demonstrating how to wrap a basic coil/ wick for his RM2, and some Asian looking guy discussing the Double Cross RDA, from which the RM5 is remodeled. Speaking of RM5, I am now running a single 1.7 ohms coil in mine. Easier to draw and adjust than an RM2, but I really think my 'experiment' with dual coils is winding down. Dragon's Fire tastes better when I do not get the feeling of microwaving my throat just to get more vapor. :2c:
You're missing the point Papaw , I don't think any of us really care about what Busardo says . It's just fun to raise hell about it . :)

I don't much watch his videos to listen to his opinions, I like that he does a really thorough job of showing every aspect of the stuff he reviews and showing all the settings, what comes in the boxes and that he hooks stuff up to machines to make sure they are doing what they advertise.

As far as his thumbs and his personal opinions I could care less. It is just nice to see a device thoroughly before buying, and to know if they actually do what they advertise.

I've only ever seen one, and that's where he copied the famous heavy super-industrial Gruntmaster 5000 Fog (Vaping) Machine that had been done earlier on YouTube.

Lol yeah that was his worst review by a long shot. He should have taken a break after his cruise instead of jumping in like he did, life goes on. It was the overall review combined with the recommendation from Bronze that convinced me I had to have one, certainly not pbusardo rambling like a fool about how it can be made different lol

He had a valid point about the endcap varying in length between the black and stainless versions but I don't know if he had beta or production models but I find it two faced to rag on a sub $100 device for not including an 18490 tube and not rag on a $200 device for not including the 18650 extension cap .

Again, I'm looking at this in two different time frames. He did his Provari reviews at a time when it wasn't uncommon to have to buy extra parts for different batteries. That isn't the case anymore. All these mechs and mods nowadays come with the ability to use any battery. It's kind of a standard thing these days when it didn't used to be. Is his criticism blown out of proportion. Perhaps. I do think he was nitpicky about the fire button. Overall, I think he was favorable to the SVD V2 and didn't think it was as bashing as you. He did hammer it for the size...and truthfully, I would too. The SVD is oversized IMO. For some reason, Innokin doesn't seem this is important.

That's kind of how I view them. Sometimes I don't even watch his thumbs up/thumbs down part. I just like the hard facts he presents.

I was in touch with Geoff and his mix team regularly while they searched for a replacement cinnamon. I also beta tested a couple versions of the "new" Geoffs Blend.

It was all for naught! Nothing came close to the amazing flavour of the previous version and I ended up losing my 2.5 yr ADV/EDV. The sad thing, it wasn't just me. I had converted a boat load of local Vapors to Geoffs Blend. Not too many happy people.

When Geoff himself got hooked on the cinnamon from Indonesia, he basically renamed the juice to Burmanii and put the old one to rest.. Chapter closed!

A local vendor then reached out to me and offered to work with me to come up with a juice similar to what GB was. After 2 months, and numerous iterations, Maple Leaf Vapes released Dusty's Blend. A lot of the locals were very happy with the results, but for me, I had finally picked up my bottles of 5 month steeped Dragons Fire, Gandalf and Pirates Booty from my steep shelf.. And the rest as they say is history!

I never did end up buying or sampling any more Dusty's Blend. NETs had me hooked! :)

A lot of the high powered mods have specific battery requirements , in actuality I wouldn't want to run any of the DNA's on anything other than an 18650 and I'm hoping to see a 26650 powered DNA 40 at some point , I don't mind an extra inch in length over the Provari , I wouldn't pocket either one anyway .

OK, this will either go Into the Tank, or Backfire really fast .....

Since the lines between The Big Thread and the Let's Talk Hardware thread have become somewhat blurred, I've started another Thread in this Sub Forum entitled 'The Front Porch'. For Idle Banter...
For those who can relax and talk about nothing in particular.
For those who can talk all day and really never say anything.
For those who think a cup of coffee and a good vape is a good start to the day.
For those who think a good meal and a good vape is a good ending to the day.
For talk of grandbabies, sports teams, pets, kids, cars, lawns, and anything and nothing in particular.

Have a Safe and Blessed Evening :)

I would have got rid of the Hardware thread, and made the Big Thread the catch-all. The more we split, the more fragmented we get..

p.s - Sam started posting Hardware in here. :p

I don't think Sam was alone, but then again who am I to speak when I have 'Hardware' for an avatar ?
I don't expect much from the new thread anyways, my threads usually die a swift and painless death :p

I didn't start the discussion on the SVD 2.0, I think Retic did lol

And we were originally not discussing hardware, rather PBusardo and his reviews lol

We should really leave the Hardware thread for hardware.. not everyone here wants to see hardware spattered in here, which was why the hardware thread took life to begin with.

Soft rule: no hardware posts in this thread. Leave it for chit-chat. Can we agree to that?
