Apparently when I was PMing someone on ECF, they hit a PM limit LOL. I need to pay attention to the hospital errors. I thought the message was going though, but I guess not .

They have met twice. My son got in Calve's Kenworth today. My son is happy and likes Calve. Calve also met my family today....wearing an LSU t-shirt. :glare:

Oh my goodness!!!

Calve! An LSU shirt?

I'm so happy for you. Just sitting here smiling away, thinking it's about darn time RJ is being adored and spoiled as she should be :)

Enjoy the visit. I know you both will.

Yeah, it's my "Less is more" mantra working against me. I just know it! Works beautifully with cotton, but not so with Rayon. I've not given up on it just yet. I wicked a coil with it as early as yesterday, and then took it apart about 1/2 hour later and re-wicked again with cotton.

I need to get past that block in my head that says.. You have too much in there.

Do y'all trim the wicks in any way, or just shove it into the chimney as is? Also, are your coils at 90* or 45* to the deck?
You've seen pics of how I wick Rayon, haven't you? I remember you commenting that I bent the wick "L" shape with the coil at 90˚. I've done both 90˚ and 45˚ coils and didn't notice a difference using the "L". Also my wicks are saturated with juice before they go into the coil, IMO, it makes it easier to get through when they are rolled into nice string-like shapes and also keeps the wick plastered to the wall of the deck while I trim it. In trimming mine, the base of the "L" is slightly shorter than the length of the deck, making sure it doesn't get stuck in the threads or block the channels.

Hope that helps, Duster. :2cool:

we must have had 6" of rain today.... constant heavy downpours up to 5ish oclock... yucky mess....
We've been lucky here. All the rain has been at night and only sprinkles during the day.

That helped my son's football team win 18-0 and my daughter's team she cheers for win 14-7. Rules for scoring is different for flag and youth ball - I haven't quite figured it out yet.

Either way, it's been a good day! Hopefully it dries out for your Sunday and Monday...

Hey I finally found a visitor center with cell and data services! My dad and I left the house about 6 or so hours ago to go on a short drive and ended up way up on the mountains!

Still 50 miles from home, will post more and some pictures when I get home.

See y'all soon!

Yup. We were down here at the Riverwalk without an umbrella (we forgot it in the truck at hotel). We hopped from dry spot to dry spot on the way to the Aquarium but still got soaked anyway. Had a blast though and just got back from Felix's where we ate ourselves into a coma.
