Samuel, as someone who always checks first with a DMM I can tell you there are occasional flaws in Kanthal that will wreck havoc on your resistance. I would imagine it is possible to find similar deficiencies in other coil materials.
Toss the coil and start over, see if it returns to normal. 25 cents of coil is a lot cheaper than $100 of mod.

Was just doing some mod maintenance which I don't like to do and noticed that I'm seriously getting low on juice. This NEVER happens. Looks like a big order is due...and right after Christmas. So I reckon there are no New Year's discount codes?

AHL has 30% off just now..there is a code..hold a bit while I retrieve it. That's some quality right there.

Ya I will, just not now, to tired to focus on it, and I'm still working. I'll just live without my veritas until late tonight or tomorrow.

We were busy doin' stuff today. Met the MIL at the library where she volunteers then out to lunch. I was a good girl.
Did a couple of things at her house after, came home and watched the gag reels on several seasons of The Big Bang Theory.
Did my 4 miles on the elliptical.
Catching up on ECF now.

I have saved some caloric intake for an ounce of Disaronno, if I choose to drink... still deciding on that.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!!!!!!!!!

I seem to recall something about shorting a mech? A Reo maybe?

I'm getting to the age where I sometimes forget, but I think a Vertical Coil in an ERA RBA that shorted out so hard it not only collapsed the spring but it also melted the inner seal of the 510 connector and the Juice Feed tube where it connects to the 51o Connector. Thus... "Sparkey".

but I could be wrong about that White/ Black Classic Grand going back to the Spa to be resuscitated. Maybe.....
