I finally figured the lyrics out to Duster's favorite song from India!!!! :rickroll:

Positively detest that style of Indian music. India has some beautiful classical music, and then there's the crazy Bollywood kind.

Hey! This was me last night in my living room, under my own personal disco ball!

But... how did you know??? Dang, I gotta learn to pull the blinds at night. ;)

I've got this setup in the basement for when the kids (or adults) want to party.. :D

It's been making noise the whole time, we just couldn't figure out what it was. Never got an oil light, but my brother said the oil light is by pressure(?) so if there's not a leak the pressure stays ok and no light comes on... ( I totally don't get all this so I may have misunderstood!)

Going to check the tail pipe now Papaw..

OK. Well that explains the noise. If you were burning oil your exhaust would be noticeably voluminous and white. It would be noticeably different.

Not to belabor the point, but I do not trust those kids that work at those quickie oil joints. Experienced too many screw ups with them. If you insist on going there (due to no reasonable alternatives) then I would check your oil level as soon as you get home after a change. And then just as normal maintenance, check your oil level every 2,000 miles (on a 2010). And I would change your oil more frequently (like every 3 - 5,000 miles). I never trust those owner's manuals that says to change every 8,000 or 10,000 miles. Lastly, change your own air filters. Get them at an auto parts store or Wally World. Get a brand name like Fram. They are infinity better quality than the junk they sell you at those quickie joints. They use single wall filters. Fram is twice as thick. Change the air filter every 10,000 or so. And don't forget to change your tranny fluid AND filter (see how often in owner's manual). The tranny fluid is the most overlooked maintenance item on a vehicle and causes the most expensive damage. And none of this, "I'm a lady stuff". Ladies are perfectly capable of keeping up on their cars. Actually better than men because once they make up their mind to do it it gets done!

Off my pedestal. :)

Positively detest that style of Indian music. India has some beautiful classical music, and then there's the crazy Bollywood kind.

A few months ago, we saw a Philadelphia performance by Malavika Sarrukai of "Ganga - Nitya Vaahini" - classical dance. The music was performed live too. It was a gorgeous, transcendent experience. She is amazing.

Our Christmas gift last year was a set of tablas. Still working on learning to tune them and play them.

Next time I want to get down boogey-oogey-oogey, I'm heading to Dusty's place. :)
