    People who live among the trees have seen this. A branch from above fell out of the tree and stuck in the ground. It might not look like much from this picture but it is 2-1/2" wide. Here's how far it stuck in the ground. And the ground is hard. We haven't had any measurable rain in weeks. If this hit someone in the head, they're finished. And yes, my tree in the top picture got hit by lightning...about 7 years ago. That's another story.
    Unless it hit's BK , he'd just call it a migraine . :)

    I got the job at the vape shop, it's not open yet but as manager I'm going to help him open and set up. Going to cater more to the people around my age and his age (he is quite a bit older than me) since all of the vape shops around here cater to the young people and they typically pretty much ignore us and have lost annoying music, etc.

    Going to be fun!

    Congratulations, Sam!! :toast:

    Sam, I am thrilled for you. This sounds like the perfect job. You are targeting the right folks. Good deal for sure. Yes, the shop here is full of young guys, and almost all are big cloud chasers. As a woman in my 50's, they pretty much ignore me too. The shop an hour away is the same thing. The place is full of vaper, and the guys working there are more interested in blowing dragon breath amounts of clouds, ignoring people like me. I have to go to the dentist in that town. I don't know if I will stop by there, or not. Probably not. Their loss. So Sam, it would be nice to have a store, like the one you are talking about. I won't hold my breath on one like that opening here.

    What KK said. :)

    Bagels are one of the only foods we boil, bake and toast...

    ...just to make sure they're really, really dead before we eat 'em!

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Answer me one thing. Will tapatalk work?
    And hello all :)

    We are going to try to keep it. *crosses fingers*

    The new forum software looks like it works better than tapatalk on mobile devices. When we switch over, try it out for a bit and let us know how it works for you???? Please???? ;)

    I like how Tapatalk gives instant notifications and doesn't spam my email, when it gets around to it, like the forum likes to do. And it's much easier to read on.

    Morning y'all.

    Geez bronze that's scary! We've had rather large icicles fall like that before, usually the big ones come from the top roof so there isn't anything we can do about it. Luckily its the back of the house and nobody walks by there during winter.

    Pulled something in my back lifting a laundry basket yesterday. Today my spine is stiff and won't bend right so I guess I get the day off. Too bad workman's comp doesn't pay moms. And unfortunately looks like my spring cleaning is off for a few days. Gonna catch up on some Netflix and some crocheting.

    Hope all are well

    I understand back pain all too well, stay off your feet for a day or 2 and relax! Put the kids to work helping you since you go out of your way to help them when they are down. Take care of yourself until it passes!
