People who live among the trees have seen this.
A branch from above fell out of the tree and stuck in the ground. It might not look like much from this picture but it is 2-1/2" wide.

If this hit someone in the head, they're finished. And yes, my tree in the top picture got hit by lightning...about 7 years ago. That's another story.
Out here, or actually at the mouth of the Chaopraya River, we have mangroves that drop their seed pods like that. They stick in the mud and a new tree grows. Probably wouldn't kill ya if it landed on your head, but this fruit might...

That would hurt! Got these "gumballs" (from a Sweet Gum tree) that rip open your foot if you step on them. People in the north pay money for these. Don't get it.
Always, take care of your back. I have problems with my back too. It is probably arthritis too. (seems like most everything is these days) Doing a little bit, might help...but no lifting. I will never forget an old .... Van .... show. He leaned over, and couldn't get up. I thought it was hilarious when I was a kid. I was in my late 30's, or early 40's, and then it happened to me. Suddenly it wasn't so funny. Then I recalled that show. I used to love that show when I was a kid. Rob was the character name. Now the crazy computer thing flagged the word. It starts with a D. Good grief.

Ah, thank you Robin dear. You knew exactly whom I was speaking of. The young ones here probably don't. That was a great show. I will never forget the show where he had that accident on the slopes. That guy was downright funny. I was a little tyke when it aired. Times sure have changed since those days, that's for sure.
I thought it was funny that Rob and Laura slept in separate beds.
All the old shows did that, if I'm not mistaken. If they were in single beds, they had to put a foot off on the floor. Yes, times have certainly changed!
