I am still fighting that Virginia Creeper allergy attack. It was almost gone, then I went to my friends out in the country, and it started popping back up. Then it was getting better. So I went out yesterday to take pics of my beloved dog Bella. She turned 10 months old yesterday. Well the heat made the poison ivy like rash start popping back out again. My face was itching, around my eyes too, and especially my nose. The bumps were on my jaw line, and chin, and even below. Took another allergy pill, and coated some calamine lotion on my face. If I don't look cute...ugh. I look like some weird pink bearded lady. I was supposed to go to a river party tomorrow evening. I guess that is out for sure. No way I'm gonna be getting out in the heat. Besides that Virginia Creeper is out there too. Maybe not along the path, but I'm not taking any chances.

No honey you ain't a whiner..I am though because the doctor just gave me some new heart meds..They are NOT cheap either..Why I can't get them to understand if it's not made in a generic my wallet can't take it.

what would be ironic is that Harrahs would pack up and leave the building, hold on to the lease for as long as possible leaving it empty and unusable for the duration and haul .... with the 290 million in revenues per year that the city is depending on... bet the Chitty Council would think about that....

Over 50 other businesses are in that lawsuit and more are joining it , I don't know what chance they have but the Chitty Council doesn't think to begin with , process of thought is beyond their reach .

Yep. Corporations are government's best friend and worst enemies. If they want to collect property tax on a par with Detroit, then they're going the right way about it - no jobs, no money, no gravy train or showing off anymore for Mr/Ms Councilmember.

Hula , NOLA has become almost a new Hollywood , more and more movies are being made there because of the difference in taxes between LA and CA . The numbnuts on the Chitty Council want to remove the tax breaks , seems like nobody told them that movie production will simply go elsewhere in the south . The level of stupidity in NOLA is beyond belief , but it's a blue spot in a sea of red .

She said "she will discuss the rest of the results at your next appt on the 12th" I'm half worried they'll say something big is wrong and half worried they'll say its all in my head (its happened before. Last year I was called a drug seeker and prescribed anti depressants instead) sigh...

Oh well I guess I'll find out when I find out lol

Hmmm , scrubbing with hot water and Dawn , as hot as I can tolerate , is the only thing that relieves the itch for me .

Wednesday I drove almost 700 miles, Thursday drove another 400 just to be back in Charlotte by 6am. After unloading, they asked if I could do a short one (busy season) so I did. Signed up on a Beckley WV (500 paid miles = $190) for Friday. Then the stuporviser calls me on my phone to tell me he's taking me off the Beckley because he needs someone to make Thomasvillle delivery ($80). On the promise that the Beckley would be there for me Monday.
That turned out to be a lie. First you take over $100 out of my pocket, then the 'back end' is an empty promise.
I had that Freightliner sideways going off the Shipping Yard. Did a circle spin in the truck parking area, backed in to a spot, and walked.
I still have that job, apparently. Not sure I want it. I also have an application for a company that hauls produce from Miami back to Carolina for Harris Teeter (local grocery chain). More money, less home time.
Either way, I really couldn't care less for the job I am on.
Edit : By the way, my Monday delivery is a 5am in Charlotte. $43.
