Wow, sounds like y'all had fun last night. I didn't go back to read those posts, but my later.

BTW, Bronze, I wasn't sleeping for the millennium, at that time I was either baking cookies or getting the house ready for company.

Oh, and about the lunch with SIL, it turned out to be an early dinner as they didn't show up till after four and the storm was over by 6 PM.

Mornin' David.

Car story. My Honda Accord has been making a weird noise since I got back from Mexico in Oct. Had the oil changed just before we went, at a local quick lube place that everyone uses. My brother is a mechanic, had him go through the car- he checked everything except the oil (as it had just been done) and couldn't find anything wrong. We chalked it up to road noise from the tires. Tuesday at lunch I had 3 lights come on in the dash, none oil related, but had DH check the oil anyway. Guess how much showed on the dipstick? None! 3 quarts low, it only holds 5... No leaking in my parking spot at work or in my garage at home. Thinking the quick lube place didn't put enough in. That was 7000 miles ago.. Hopefully I didn't cause any permanent damage. Lesson learned too. Everyone makes mistakes, and I'll be re-checking my own oil from now on!

Did they not put enough in or is your engine burning through it?

I never go to those quickie lube joints. Don't trust them and they use cheap (overpriced) parts. I change my own oil. Every 3,000 miles. Truck is 21-1/2 years old and running smooth as a....

Lori, before the last millennium you asked us what we use to build on, right? Well, I have a small 40ml table vice clamped to my desk - it's great because once clamped in, the atty ain't going nowhere. Now, however, I sometimes use the atty tool that came with the Rose; it weighs 135 grams and is pretty sturdy.

That conversation is so last year, Chak. Are you and Mama Chak done with all the crazy baking schedule that y'all had going over the last few weeks?

just came in from taking a look around outside.... its weird, like some type of apocolypse movie... no one around... no cars driving no people talking... no dogs barking nothing but a few wind chimes a few houses down the way... way too quiet....

People recovering from the festivities of last night
Enjoy the silence for a little while

Funny, I have a tiny headache and I didn't drink any alcohol wut??
