there was this car made back in the day.... ugly little thing, cheap, built with minimal quality goods, but lasted forever.... the VW bug :)

My first car! In 1980, I bought a yellow '72 VW bug. I loved that car. It was cute! My windshield defrost was a hand towel and the throttle tended to lock up in the cold and needed to be manually released. I used my blow dryer. Didn't find out until many years later that it's dangerous to run a hair dryer in the cold.

I still see them on the road too, and I'd love to have one again. The original - not the new ones. Blech.

Time to fess up - who else here has owned a VW bug?

My day so far:
Up at 7:30. Made coffee. Moped around and drank coffee. Made a ham/ turkey/ cheese/ potato wrap for breakfast. Moped around and drank more coffee. Went back to bed 10:00.
Up at 12:15. Mamaw brought home something from Chik-fila that had shrimp, sausage and potatoes in it. Tasted so good, I went back to bed.
Up at 5:30pm. Finished off Chik-fila whatever it was. Now I might make some more coffee.
Busy day so far....

can anyone chime in on the new Samsung 18650 25r 5's (green wrap)? I see illumn.com has them, however the numbers end with a 6 instead of a 5 and I've only seen a "5" at the end of every website that sells them including the set I just purchased.

Hey Army! Went by the Lowes Pops goes to in Hendersonville. He wasn't there. :)

Where is Robin? She's gonna need to move us to the new thread soon.

I'm something thousand feet in the air. Plane was delayed. It will be interesting to see if I actually make my connection in Atlanta. :(
