The hope a thon was a walking fundraiser for cancer put together by the schools Key Club. Looked to be fairly successful. Now I'm off to do more walking! This time with the dogs. @LAwaters welcome to winter in the desert! Glorious out isn't it?

Beyond my wildest dreams! Some folks around town have put lights in their smaller palm trees and it's so beautiful. We may end up spending the entire holiday season in L.A. which will be lovely. But I will kinda miss not seeing how LV does Christmas. Enjoy your day!

So my Provari was supposed to be delivered today. Instead I get a pink slip telling me to go pick it up on Monday. All because the carrier is too lazy to get out of their truck and have me sign for it. Called twice to the post office and finally got a hold of someone who is sending them back supposedly. I don't have to have that Provari today but it just pisses me off that the carrier is too lazy to get out of their truck and do their job. The post office is 15 miles away so a 30 mile round trip to get something the lazy carrier should be dropping off. Good ole USPS. My weekday carrier never pulls that. Just the lazy weekenders.

Gots to be a mod to do that, I believe.

Evening BK and the rest of you brats... :D

Adam CAN open the thread back up if he wants to. Since we are now in the HHV Forum, he can post anywhere in this thread. That rule was in place before Adam went ahead and got his supplier forum (which is where we are now :D ) and he couldn't post in our little group forum.

That's the one that was closed and moved down to Archives. ;)

Since he can post in this thread, and anywhere else in this HHV forum, it will be his call on whether or not he wants to open that thread back up. All he has to do is click on the Moderator tools and make sure the 'Open' box is checked off. Then he needs to at least make one post so that it doesn't automatically close back up.

Threads that do not have any responses/posts for 3 months, automatically close by the ECF Forum software.

Adam and a couple of others are moderators for this forum.

Hope that clears up a few things :)

Hello from chilly PA!! Gonna sing some Karaoke tonight. Haven't done that in years now. I see from reading back that RJ has come back to our little family. You have been missed!

I see, been to those with my daughter when she was in school. Wish we still had a dog.

We're still pretty hot, our cool season hasn't kicked in yet, still getting a lot of rain. Christmas in LA, or Vegas seems kind of strange for peeps from the Northeast who are used to seeing snow. They put up lights here in Bangkok, but most are for the king's birthday (5 Dec) and not Christmas. But it still makes it festive.

Their either. I lived in Chicago and Detroit before coming to NC. I was born in Detroit. Moved away before I turned one. I talked my parents into moving. :)

Your parents spoiled you... ;)

A P2 with a P3 top cap. How crazy!

Looks pretty kewl, Bronze. I think I'll do that when I send mine in.

I'm confused. The mail carrier came back? I bet your wife is happy to have her Provari back. Does she like the blue? I have the blue LED too.

Glad it all worked out!
Yeah, I called my post office and had a turd fit so she sent her back. I was seething thinking that it wasn't OK for the carrier to spend a minute to knock on my door but it was OK that I drive 30 miles round trip to pick it up. It was ruining my day and I don't like my day ruined. The blue LED is sharper than the red that was on there prior. Easier to read.

I couldn't do the red. Reminded me of an old alarm clock my parents had in the 70's.
Are you not allowed to sign the paper and they would leave it in the box when they attempt re-delivery?
No can do. Got to have a live signature. My red LED reminded me of the first Texas Instruments calculator my Dad brought home from work back in 1970 (or whenever it was). Cost $400 back then and it was owned by the engineering department and had to be shared among the engineers. :)
