I'm a Chocoholic and there's NO way, no HOW that I will tolerate a 3 am craving and hope a candida cleanse and oregano oil will sort it. Nuh-uh! I have my many options right there in the fridge. Mmmmm mmm Mmmmmmmmmm:drool: (and Haribo sour gummy bears too). :D

Both the wifey and I are chocoholics :)
I usually try to keep a sizable stock on hand... we prefer the 85%+ cocoa type...
since I deliver Godiva on occasion, I snag a small stock pile on the way out.

I have not done anything with the channels. I did activate QOS and set a couple of priorities up and down. Smart phones are now down of the prioity list, Roku and two laptops are up on the list. When my daughter visits she is a prodigious user of and iPhone, slowing a 6.1 Mbps connection considerably - until QOS.

I have my printer hooked up to the 2.0 USB port. Works good but it puked once or twice on me too. Not sure why. I find whenever the devices hooked to the USBs puke on me that a reboot seems to do the trick. The backup software on the Nighthawk works nicely but it shut down on me here a week ago. Said something like, "Backup Engine Fail". "I'm like, "What the ...!" Hopped online and found the solution. Was pretty easy actually. So I'm still feeling my way with the Nighthawk USB ports. Using the 3.0 port for the backup is the only way to go. The 2.0 port is way too slow.

Have you messed with your channel assignments in the software? Makes a big difference.

14mm? Man, that's skinny.

I'd kill for a slice of that chocolate cake. The only thing that keeps me from eating chocolate is by not bringing it in the house. If it's here, I eat it until it's gone. When I go to the store I don't go down the chocolate aisle ever anymore. They could put naked women in the chocolate aisle...nope. Not going down there. Nuh, uh.

Depends upon how that choose the staff for that chocolate aisle.

what I think of when I hear the word Router....

The English pronounce these as "rooter".

th

Not really but for now I'm going to leave it. A wired connection is always better. I did go into the router settings and turned the 2.5GHz wireless off. No need for both 2.5GHz and 5GHz running.
May as well. I can't do that because I still have some 2.4GHz-only devices. I do find the further away the better 2.4GHz does relative to 5.0GHz. When I call up wifi sources on my laptop I still get a lot of neighbor's 2.4. One or two 5.0 for those who have hyperspeeds.

I’m a chocoholic too! I’ve been “on the wagon” for the past few months. A homeopathic candida cleanse and oregano oil seem to have eased the craving. Also the best honey in the world with warm water and half a lemon’s juice. But I’m due for a chocolate fit! It’ll probably hit me at 3 am some night. And like @Bronze I have none in the house.

Welcome to Bennett's Honey Farm
What makes the honey the best? I'd love to tour their production facility...with a bee suit, of course. :)

The QOS is nice. Beamforming just as nice. When you get a chance, experiment with your channels. Get a speed test on your laptop and then try different channels to see what gives you the strongest signal. It can make a huge difference. With 2.4GHz band you have to stay with channels 1, 6, or 11. I believe Netgear advises using channel 153 and above on the 5.0GHz band. I have mine on 149. It works best.

Actually, I just use my Roku to test signal strength since my Roku is most important to me. There is a "secret screen" you can bring up on your Roku.

Home 5X
Up
Down

You can see your signal strength. Then try different channels to see which one maximizes.

Got the results of hubs latest test. CEA down to 4.3 from 8.9.

That is awesome! Within 'normal' range. I wish mine will get that low!! :D

Better though when it gets to the 0.something range. Excellent response though!!

Yes,feeling pretty good outside of the back pain. They cancelled his chemo again today because of low blood count. He can't have the shot for his back with the low blood count either.

They gave me shots to get my blood count up enough to continue chemo. Are they thinking about that?

Psst! Unless you were hoping for a wet kipper smack, pretty sure you’re supposed to call ‘em BRITS.

The flavor of that Bennett’s honey is richer and more caramel like than any other I’ve tried! I’ve tasted a lot of different honey varieties going way back to my health food store job. Different flowers, etc. Buckwheat was not to my liking at all. Orange blossom can be nice. Most clovers are very similar, except for Bennett’s clover. I’ve liked honey in the past, but this stuff has made me a rabid fan girl.

Sparing you from having to say it! LOL! You really are scared of my new buff arms, eh? ;)

LOL! Well, it helps that I’ve seen other pics of you and already know your features are beautiful. That said, your beauty is the kind that emanates as much from your appearance as from your inner lovely character. You are shining with a loving spirit. :)
