Not really , I don't care who wins the pissing contest , just want it fixed . 35 x-rays and a Cat scan yesterday plus the usual blood and urine tests . Enough radiation in me to vaporize Tokyo .
Interesting because it begs the question...is your current doc engaging in CYA? Interesting because two so called "experts" disagree. Interesting because it just proves that docs don't know everything. And interesting because it proves more than one opinion is the right thing to do. It would also be interesting to hear your current doc try to refute what the new doc finds. All good things to know since it is your body that is suffering and you're the one most interested in getting it fixed. :)

Retic, I am so glad you got the second opinion. I know exactly what you mean about too many x-rays. I hope the newer doctor can come up with a game plan, and get you back on your feet. You are too young to not be enjoying life to the fullest extent possible.

I go to the doctor tomorrow to find out what they are going to do with me. Tomorrow morning will be my last antibiotic pill, thank goodness. I am ready to be able to get some sun, and stop eating yogurt so much.

In the midst of a lot of online nonsense, you find something that makes you giggle! (Yeah, in a way this isn’t funny...)

In our case, we’d make this “while ECF was down...”

At this point all I care about is results , CYA is to be expected , the rest is a dog and pony show IMO .

I totally understand. But you have one doc who says it is unrelated and another doc who says it is. Kind of puts you in a critical decision-making process. Who's right?

Easy , since the first is doing nothing for me , I'll go with the second .

No they consider it unrelated , the doc I saw today disagrees and thinks it is .
That second opinion is very important and I'm so glad you got that done. Let's hope he has some answers for you. Keeping everything crossed and saying a prayer for all of you suffering.

you need a better alarm clock..... get one of those TENS units, have it set up to turn on for time required and turn the settings to ultra high.... that will getyerbuttoutabed

Yeah, it'll getyerbuttoutabed, but then you have to figure out how to jump into your truck, without the entire population of your neighborhood coming at yersleepybutt with pitchforks and nailing it to the front yard.

LA and anyone interested...there are videos on how to make a solar water still. It is not complicated at all. Look at a few of them, and take notes. I even drew a picture of it in one of my journals not that long ago. One thing I will note, do NOT use toxic plants for your green foliage. You can also make water with a 2 liter bottle, plus an aluminum can. It is best to use tubing such as a length of flexible tubing that can be found in the plumbing section of your hardware store. That way you can sip the water, without disturbing the stilling process. (this is for the solar water still only) Personally I would boil all water. Don't gather grass or vegetation near roadways though, that is another hint from me. If you live near the ocean, you can use seaweed. If you don't have plastic sheeting, you can find glass to use instead. I have a couple of portable water purifiers, as well as purification tablets too.

Also learn how to filter water. You can make charcoal from a fire. Coffee filters, bandanas, socks etc...can also filter dirty water, to get the worst off, if you prefer. Don't forget bleach or uv can also help. Boil afterwards, just to make sure it is safe. There are other methods to do this of course. They even have sand biofilters, which might be better where you live.
Take notes of videos you watch. That could come in handy one day.
You can supposedly drink rain water that hasn't touched the ground. Once it hits the ground though, you have to boil it. For the bottoms of the containers, you have the lid upside down. You can put a small hole in there, to let it drain into a container or water bottle. If you do this on a larger still, you can make the hole big enough for flexible tubing to fit in, if you prefer that.
