Linux mint 19 is in testing right now , beta should be out by the end of next week if not sooner . Running the beta will give you a simple path to the release version , just a matter of updating it , super easy to do in Linux Mint .

Some of you were annoyed at Win 10 updates resetting your preferences like privacy and security. That’s upsetting! There is no excuse for that in code. User preferences are sacred - your code should never mess with it for any reason.
I’m annoyed because it also reset my monitor calibrations. In my work, that’s important. Now I have to recalibrate 3 monitors and try to get the color accurate on them in Photoshop. Grrrr.
The default makes the monitor colors dark and over-saturated. No one would want their color like that even if they aren’t a design professional. WTH?
Naturally the settings are buried in some nonsensical location.
There are bigger problems in the world. It’s only a nuisance.

Windoze 10 resets things almost every update . I can only assume it's deliberate , MS wants to ram it down our throats . Meanwhile more privacy legislation taking place in the EU , targeting Google , Apple etc. for spyware . I hope the EU devastates the SOB's in court .Not to get @retic1959 going on a tear about Linux. Totally agree. The updates also automatically restart your computer even if you have it set to ask first. I had some Photoshop files open but not saved, walked away to do something and come back to find the system had rebooted. I am a fanatic about saving as I work, but this time I didn’t. (Wouldn’t you know it?) Thankfully Photoshop had an auto-recovery and I got my work back. Still, I was livid!
The privacy invasion stuff they do is horrible enough. But they can’t even get the basics right and ruin your productivity. Life is too short for this!

and her reason was to "cover" the existing old Fedex Label
OHHH wait.. is that a roll of sticky labels designed to cover the address and barcode on the used fedex labels to the left and behind the box???????????????????? ( looks like a roll of TP)

we have over 70 pallets( 4'X4') and 100 shelves ( 2'X8'X2') of storage for Cisco parts ... about 22,000 boxes of stuff... ranging in value from 20$ to 100K$ per piece... yup 100K$ ( full blown servers that weigh over 500 lbs... most of the weight is power supply)
can you tell Ive had enuf of this BS?

if you find mold on other types of cheese, one has a desire to cut away that mold or even throw away the whole thing....
