That Raptor is huge compared to the REO's! Beautiful collection though! :D

The wife uses it. Along with a Twist. Those Twists are still neat little PVs. So simple but effective.
That's why I'm hanging onto mine. Just. In. Case.

"Just in case" is your life motto. :)
:headbang:

When I first started on ECF I was all about getting the best for the $$ I was spending. Something that was easy, yet reliable and durable. Just cuz that's the way I am.

After a short time, I found the threads about the FDA and realized that I need to have things that will LAST not only because of durability but also because of regulations that may decimate vaping as we know it. I have a boat load of vivi heads and the vivi nova's themselves. I am hanging onto them....just in case. Even though I have three of the KFL+ and I have wire etc... Who knows what is going to happen down the road. They shouldn't fail me...but I know how I am

I just was looking at my old vivi collection yesterday. I was thinking about filling one up and vaping on it just to see the differences between then and now. I know I don't miss the tip and swirl.

You will be disappointed. Not the flavor that we are used to now. Tighter draw for sure. LOL. Give a whirl though, it will make you appreciate what you have now. The ease though.....cannot beat that with a stick!! If they could incorporate the ease of the Vivi with the flavor and everything else with the kayfun.... Man I would be in HEAVEN!

It's quite big..dual 18650 but it fits my hand okay. You would prolly have trouble with it though with your tiny crumb snatchers.

I don't have high expectations. But it would make me appreciate what I have now.

The Kabuki comes close to the ease thing. There is no way that the kabuki holds as much liquid as they are saying. That is one of the drawbacks for me with it...

I will keep it as another backup option though.

I couldn't get jazzed up over the Kabuki. Just another mouse trap (for $90).

I am caught unprepared! Some of my stuff is back in LV! I thought about bringing my KFLs to see if I can get them not to leak. I also left my Stingray, Magma's and Veritas behind. I still have a Halo Triton, G6's and three Green Smoke pens for the when the hammer falls.

From our friend's deck in LA. IPV D2 & Aqua v2, ZNA Lite & Aqua v2, headless P2.5, MVP & Aspire (for the low watt occasionals).

I have had mine leak a few many times. Change in altitude when driving to Michigan drove them nuts. I was happy to get to Mich and happy to get back to Florida. Also, high temperatures thin the liquid and that can make them go a bit wonky in the leaking department. Happens here in Florida depending on temp. I'm sure Vegas is worse.

I think you need to play with the wicking, Lori. Not sure what your liquid ratio is. I just know that the heat thins it.

My KFLs have never leaked a molecule since I've owned them (going on 2-1/2 years now). I don't get it.

I don't get it either. They were all great, then suddenly, one by one, each started to leak from the airhole. I'm sure it's user error.

That's what I'm thinking too, Robin. My ratio is 60/40 PG/VG. I'm doing something wrong -probably with the tails being too long or too thick. I just haven't had time this entire year to really experiment with it. I was using the nano tank for a while and loved it. Worked like a charm. I'll figure it out. :)

I don't know if how high the coil is above the hole has anything to do with it too
That's the problem with problems, so many things can contribute which makes it hard to nail it down. :grr: LOL

Edit to add: I know that heat from the sun can be an issue. If I am not using it and it is sitting in the sun, the liquid gets very warm. It will start leaking. If I hold it up to the air conditioning vent in the car, the leaking stops as the liquid starts getting thick again.

Just my observation.

Yes, altitudes will make the Kayfun leak (many others as well). And heat will thin the juice so if there is any weak spots the thinning will exacerbate that. And Robin brings up a good point. If that coil is sitting barely above the deck then it would leak easier than if it were higher. Also, bad o-rings will mess up the vacuum which is a sure way to get leakage.

You may be right there, Robin! Since moving to other tanks, I do tend to have the coil sitting pretty close to the airhole. I did notice the heat thing and altitude in travel. I brought one with me on our last trip here, and there are lots of big climbs on the journey. The tank pretty much emptied itself all over my Provari. Thankfully, I had it in a ziplock bag.

I have noticed the same with the altitudes and heat, really hot days of I leave it in the car the tank is pretty much empty when I get back. I travel with them empty. If I'm in the car I find if I use it while the altitude is changing I can minimize the leakage.

In general use though, I don't have leaks. Condensation on the bottom but that's about it.
