If you haven't seen this video, it is a must watch.

Wow! That was incredible. As much as I think fame eats people alive and destroys their souls - I do hope many people get to enjoy her gift. And that she can offer it without losing herself. :)

Funny you said that, I was thinking the exact thing last night. That woman is a star as far as I'm concerned. I don't see how she can top that performance though. I have replayed that video I don't know how many times already!

Oh, and she picked KELLY!

I had to look that up. I was surprised. I hope it works out well for her. I don't watch the show (or any regular TV) so I only get to see these great ones when you post them. :)

This is an enlightening interview. She talks about her mother and family. She also tells why she chose Kelly. What she said made me like her even more. So this reaffirms what I felt before she made the decision. It may be a little long for some people, but it was worth it to hear.

I also found out she is a head volleyball coach, and she played Tina Turner at one time. That was a surprise, and cool.

I love the Fall. DH is in West Virginia now, working. I planned my next trip to visit at the end of October hoping the leaves would be in full color. He told me tonight the maples are starting to change already. I should have researched that a little more before I booked my flight. Maybe I'll get lucky and there will still be some color left.

ohhh thats right, its October... and that means OCTOBERFEST!!!!!

Yea!!! Beer!!!

heres my theory on how beer was invented...

some time long ago someone left the top off of some wheat urns and it rained, filling the urn with water. With the natural yeast being present, it started fermenting and walaaa!! Beer :)

and then they ruined it by adding hopps o_O and called it IPA

heres an interesting bit of info... Guinness stout was created from a fire in the grainery. The heavily smoked grains ( from the fire) were saved and used anyway.... and the rest is just awesomeness ;)

odd... I thought when the leaves are in "full" color they are all green... and in the fall they become mottled in a variety of non green colors... ;)

and hopefully there will still be leaves on the trees then too ;)

I always love hearing the latest in your life. You still could make it for seeing the leaves in color. Usually WV would be around end of Oct. PA is further north and reached its peak about mid-Oct. It depends on the temps at night and the shortening daylight hours. One thing that ruins it is a storm with a lot of wind. Takes them down early. Another is an early frost. If the summer was dry, then the colors would be less brilliant and go quickly brown.

This was the last good pic I got of the red maples in my backyard in PA. It was 10/19/2012. Every year after that they were less brilliant and went brown really fast.
