Good Morning Army. No alarm clock this morning. Coffee tastes just as good as usual. Brought the Tree home yesterday, will be decorating this afternoon. Don't really know why because we don't get a whole lot of company anymore. Call it "the Urlacher Effect". Today I will begin my Christmas Shopping. A whole lot of Gift Cards. What would you possibly by a teenaged girl ? Women are easy - MONEY ! Always the right size, always the right color, always well received. I am not sure when that starts in a young ladies lifetime (some might say at birth) but by the time they are cooking, cleaning, and changing diapers Women have learned a true appreciation for the warmth and affection of cold, hard cash.
Stick around. I've got sixteen days of nothing to do (except Christmas) to come up with such pearls of wisdom.

Welcome to the world of too much time on your hands and alot of time to think of all the things in this world that just dont make sense... about 5 days into the 16 days you will experience strange and odd thoughts... you may even wonder about String Theory and how it creates parallel universes ( not galaxies) or... you may wonder just how many of those reflector thingies that are on the roads ( the thump thump things) were made and why we cant get the same glue they use to put them there...

That's a shame. Bose was always the gold standard. J has a pair that are noise canceling that we bought about 8 years ago and they are terrific. I would have gotten the same ones but I'm one of those people who gets a little ill if the headphones fit too tightly and don't allow airflow to the ears. That's how I ended up with a pair that look like I'm working ground control at the airport.

I used to have a great pair of headphones. They looked like what LA was wearing. It was the SONY MDR-V6. Now I see they have them with CCAW Voice Coil. I have no idea what that is, but they are higher now, than when I got mine. Let me just say years of teenagers abusing them, ruined them. I still miss those headphones. It did have a supremely long cord, like the old phone cords. These headphones were so much better than any of the ear buds, it wasn't even funny.
