I just woke up. It's time for breakfast. I think, I'm gonna be cleaning the house today. Saw Mama Chak with a scrub brush cleaning the back porch.
Evening....... One down and 2 to go. Unless I get really lucky in which case it will be one to go. Right like that's going to happen.
The friend we are staying with has 2 dogs. One is Wynne, a yellow lab who was rescued from a puppy mill. She'd already had several litters. She was not socialized well at all, and had been mistreated. They had her vocal chords cut so she can no longer bark. She makes a wheezy sound instead.
When we first met her in 2012, she was upset by our presence and even nipped at my foot once when I walked by her. It took time and patience for me to gain her trust. Now, we are loving pals, and she wags her tail so hard her whole body wiggles. She rolls on her back so I can rub her belly. She's a total sweetie!

Peeks in to say hello, beg forgiveness and wish everyone a Blessed Holiday Season. Seriously have missed all of you but what a roller coaster year it's been. I touched base with Bridget via text in September...then my mother had a heart attack. She is doing very well it just set me back again. Since that time we have moved into our new home in the country...just love it. My mom is living with us and that is going well...our family is growing next year each of our three children are having a new baby so by late summer we will have 7 grandchildren.
I've missed you my friend...it's been a long year but I've pulled up my boot straps, slapped a smile on my face and looking forward oto 2016
We asked about you a number of times and assumed you got busy with your new home. Then Bridge popped in and decided to check in with you and she updated us. Glad to see you IA and glad all is good. Did you get all the window treatments and landscaping done too?
I haven't done any window treatments...will probably only put shades on a couple of the bigger windows...it's so nice to just look outside and have the privacy. The lawn is a mud moat right now..lol We will work on landscaping next spring, we moved a lot of dirt so need to allow for settling. Hubby did get a lot of rock and ground up asphalt brought in so our drive is holding up well, even with this crazy Spring like weather, thunderstorms instead of snow.
I was just thinking about that.... I'll get something together this weekend but someone is going to have to remind me how the heck to get them loaded here
