nil volentibus arduum
I do agree with this
but arduum starts with an A
we need an M word
nil volentibus arduum
If you ever get an answer let us know.why is it?..... that if one tells a joke/story twice in 6 months the better half will quickly remind you that they heard it before and wishes you dont retell the story/joke.... but if you tell them that you love them 2X a day it still isnt enuf???![]()
It might mean don't quit your day job?

When do you see the doc next?
While I said the above jokingly, in all seriousness I don't think people often look at the right thing.
My husband occasionally retells stories, or tells me a joke he has told me before.. I never stop him from telling it, because of the look in his eyes, his joy, his laughter.. that's what's beautiful..
Sometimes, people think the point is the story or the joke, but that's never the story, the story is the love of the person opposite who is doing the telling and that is worth watching a while, and seeing their eyes light up with happiness.
Sometimes people forget that.

And I concur wholeheartedly! since we have new members and returning members... here is a story that I told some time back...
An Eskimo couple had a set of twins and since its tradition to let the kids develope their personalities before they are named they did so... the kids became older and were quite inquisitive always looking around and sticking their hands into the cracks and crevices trying to find things... the parents named the kids NaNook and NaCranny.. Years go by and NaBob and NaBetty grew apart.. NaBetty wanted to move to a warmer climate while NaBob wished to remain rooted in the freezing cold. A comprimise was established and NaBetty took NaCranny to Arizona... many years pass and NaCranny missed his brother and wished to visit him... so off he went to the frozen north to see his brother NaNook... once NaCranny arrived he noticed a very wonderful Igloo with all sorts of fantastic winter world flowers growing around it and a seal sitting on a pedistal out front.. intrigued by the site he stood there watching... a line of Eskimos formed before the pedastal and each held a fish in their hand... the first person walked up to the seal and wispered into the seals ear, gave the fish ( which the seal quickly ate) to the seal and the seal sat motionless for a few seconds.. then suddenly the seal clapped its seal fins and barked happily, the guy walked away in a good mood, the next person gave the seal a fish and wispered into its ear... once again the seal barked in a gleeful manner and the person walked away with a huge smile... next, a girl walked up to the seal and gave the fish... wispered into its ear and the seal began to make horrible noises and making raspberry sounds with its tounge... the girl ran off crying...
NaCranny then turned to see NaNook and asked him what was that all about... NaNook replied that the first guy wanted to become a great fisherman and was given the blessings to do so, the second guy was wishing to be a brave hunter, the seal wished him well in his endevours... the girl, wanted to run off with another member of another tribe who was known to be lazy...
NaCranny.. confused by this asked NaNook how does a seal have the power to do this???
NaNook replied.... he is the better homes and gardens Seal of Approval...

Well, God must have blinked when it came to yours Robin, because normally speaking, God KNEW the break between parents and offspring would be tough on Mom n Dad, so that's why he invented shudder! Scream! ....................."Teenagers". You know...the sort whose suitcase is propping the front door open on their 18th birthday?.....LOLAwwwwwww
Hate to tell ya, the last year is the hardest. You go to all those activities and think "this is the last time for____".
Believe it or not, I still get misty over seeing those back to school commercials. I loved taking the kids for school supplies. I truly do miss those days.
Hmmm just had an idea...kids should just about have their lists when we go up there. I could take them supply shopping!!
Gonna text their parents.....after I run my hair brained idea past Rick.
