Ugh, kitchen duty first thing this morning. Making spring rolls again and I have to cut up the veggies that go inside cabbage and carrots - did the mushrooms last night to get a head start.

One year, I was out on the porch roof stringing up lights in the cold. Left them up there too, until early March. This year, we are highly unlikely to have any decorations up. I'd like a break from all that. I gave my collection of decorations to the girls to divide up among them. I'd like to enjoy a simple, easy holiday season. At least this time. We'll see. Maybe I'll cave and put some lights out on the balcony.

It's weird, right? I do get my tree fix around our community. Lots of palm trees and evergreens. One with smallish leaves right outside my window - don't know what that tree is yet. No oaks or maples though. I will miss the scent of chestnut trees in early June. I love that scent! Even wrote a song that included how I love that scent.

I love trees. The area I live in has a ton of trees! But I love different types of landscapes. (especially mountains!!!)
I thought I knew mountains from growing up in a PA valley. And the house is on one of those mountains. But they are like hillsides compared to the ones out here! I love mountains too.

Good Morning Army! Beautiful day here too! I'm in the process of moving down to Zero Nic, doctor's orders. I have to be off the Nic for at least a month before my surgery on November 24th. Vaping 6mg for a month now and have an order in for some 3mg and 0mg, yikes!

I never volunteered that I vaped before my colon resection. Even stealth vaped in the hospital occasionally.
There are conflicting reports on whether or not nicotine is a vascular constrictor. On the one hand, it's said that it constricts blood flow. Yet on the other hand, they say it opens blood flow to cancer cells causing them to multiply rapidly.
I think it depends on whom has the agenda at any given point and time.
I do agree, somewhat, with smoking being bad before surgery. Somewhat. As I know that smoking does rob the brain of oxygen. Proof for me was that lightheaded-ness I would get after not having a cig for a very long time then smoking one.
I smoked when I had previous surgeries (gall bladder and a couple of others) I wasn't supposed to but I did. Vaping is not the same.
I'm just saying that some in the medical profession equate them as the same. Would they let you use the patch or gum? Or are they saying no nic whatsoever? If they allow the patch or gum.... There is certainly a non understanding of what vaping is.

If you had iCloud turned on for your contacts, you can recover them pretty easily. Was this on an iPhone or your iMac? If your contacts show up on more than one iDevice, it means they are syncing via iCloud. If so, you'll want to immediately stop the device that's lost the contacts from syncing.
Are you missing the Contacts icon, or are your contacts missing from the Contacts app?
