Bronze, I put another o ring on it.

Papaw, the Rogue came from Tom. But the atty giving me trouble is a Cigreen Derringer. I bought several sizes of o rings a good while back, for times like this. You would think the o ring I put on there was perfect. I may sand the inside of that top cap, and see if that helps. The o ring for the ring is tighter, but not like the top cap o ring was. This Derringer clone came from neither Tom nor Rob. I think I bought this right before I got the Woodvil. They were 15 bucks or less.

Worked on my windshield wipers today. They had too much play in them....a precursor to them not working at all. Had to rip out the entire linkage assembly to get to the bushings. There are five bushings holding the linkage assembly together, two different kinds. One bushing was totally gone and two others were disintegrated. Can't believe those linkage arms weren't mangled. Chasing the parts took three times longer than actually doing the job. But it's done and they're like new again. Rain away!

That can be a difficult job.

Evening.... Well the day didn't go quite the way I would have liked. But I didn't do anything this dumb. Only cost me about 30 minutes. Had to wait for people behind me to get turned around so I could back up and turn on a county road behind me. I'd been on it before so I knew it would bring out by the freeway. I would have tried to go behind him like some of the cars were doing but I would have needed all the room I could get. But it was just to wet to risk it.

I'm getting a little bit miffed. I still haven't heard from HHV re: the erroneous flat tops they sent. So with my mailing them back as a courtesy so they don't lose on the error, I'm out $54.00 and down to one battery.
It's not like them to not get back to people. I sense they will. Keep at it Hula.

Spent the morning moving potted plants and power washing the drive to accommodate a new marble table and chair set for the front yard. Let's see if I can get some pics up...

It's set up at the end of the drive and won't be going any where soon. It took four guys and myself to offload it from the truck.
