Mama Chak is feeling better and wants out ASAP, but the Docs say another day or two. She's bored stiff!

Is Mama up on her feet yet Chak?
She was sitting up today, but we didn't try walking just yet - thinking it best to wait till the therapy team came back in, but they didn't show today - guess they have Sundays off.

Got ugly for a while but I'm over it now. I'll never touch another diet coke for the rest of my life.

Good for you, vermiform! I never did like the sweeteners of diet anything - luckily don't have any reaction 'cept ack, ack, yuck!

Yes its my profession

Do you do plumbing too? We just had our guest restroom downstairs retiled - Mama Chak got tired of painting it every couple years.

Question: Best way to fix a formica backsplash that is pulled away from the wall (in one spot about 10" long)? One day I need to re-tile and re-countertop my kitchen. But that one day isn't now.
We got new cabinets with marble (or is it granite?) countertops the year after the big flood ('95) the tiles were put in before the flood and still in good shape.

I know you already ordered another mini , but I was gonna suggest getting a regular 2.5 and running in 18490 mode that way you can switch over to 18650's when you need to . But I guess you'd have to buy another one now. ;)
Still have two Provari 2.5s one in each mode, 8650 & 18490.

I had my share of dustups with Provari fanbois when I started on ECF , I don't have time or the inclination to entertain those yoyo's these days .

Only visited there once and never went back. Much better company over here.

Good morning all and a happy Pentecost weekend to whom it may apply - national holiday in Germany tomorrow :)

Happy Pentecost to you too, if it applies.

I almost did get a regular one for this reason.
But then I figured that 18490 was the longest I could accept walking around with. I've found that one 18350 is enough for one KM3 refill, but not for much more. So I'm swapping when refilling and I'm fine with the battery life now.
Plus, I like the teardrop-design from the mini better and all my flat-top 18650 wouldn't work anyway. So another Mini it is - plus a second KM3.

Looked at the new kayfun 5 closely, but I think for now a KM3 is enough. I'm fine with the smaller capacity and I didn't get a K4 because it was too long and bulgy for my taste. Afaik the K5 is just as long.

Yeah, I haven't used my KFv4 since I got the KFM V3.

Yeah , the regular 2.5 is more than a pocketfull in 18650 mode . I usually grab the Reo Grand for out and about , the 2.5 is good for lazy at home vaping .

I use both about evenly out and about, and swap out with the Presa or Subox.

Good Morning Army. Mamaw just left for WV, then onto PA. I really do feel sorry for my brother-in-law. Four sisters for two weeks. May God be with him.

Have a Safe and Blessed Sunday :nun:

I know how that goes when Mama's friends come visit. Laying low in the Man Cave as much as possible.

The wall is warped.

Good morning Army!

Morning Bronze.

Mornin All... :)

Nice, cool start to the morning here. Temps around 50* and low humidity.
Mowed yesterday, watered the garden and took the 'boys' out to play ball. Nothing quite like watching 87lbs. of mostly black Sheppard leap high to snatch a ball out of the air.
Probably spend the rest of the morning playing with e-liquids.

Nice work Diver! I really need to get the master shower re-tiled.
That is the most common thing I do and what I enjoy the most. For the most part the bigger jobs and mainly floor work is done by my brother and nephew but the shower remodels , especially the intricate ones, I really enjoy.

Is the backsplash go the whole distance from countertop to upper cabinets, or is the mica splash just 5 or 6 inches in height?

@Chakris, no plumbing for me, in fact If I do complete bath remodel, I sub everything out but my work. I don't even do solid surfaces, like kitchen or bathroom countertops. I have seen guys that do it all, they do plumbing, painting, tile, electrical, wood floors, etc and imo they could be good but not great. I stick with what I do best and nothing more.
